The prostate is a walnut sized gland which sits beneath the bladder and wraps around the urethra. If this gland becomes enlarged or swollen, it puts pressure on this tub and bladder, causing problems with urination. This is what is called benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) or prostate enlargement.
Symptoms of prostate enlargement in men include:
