The Eleventh of our Wrestling Nintendo 64 based Retrospective for Season 3.
Exclusive to the Japanese Market, this wrestling game by AKI, Virtual Pro Wrestling 2 Ōdō Keishō for the Nintendo 64 is one of the best of the best when it comes to wrestling games. This is the game that the North American released Wrestlemania 2000 was based off of and they are very similar but different in a few aspects.
This version was translated into English so we can read all the titles, menus and names of the characters. But the gameplay itself is quite self explanatory and would be just as much fun and great even if you couldn't read some end quotes or names in the game.
Consider this a bonus video in our N64 Wrestling Retrospective where we take a look at something that many in the North American Market may not have played or even realized existed before.

How to Hook up Classic Console to Modern TV | RF to HDMI Converter
How do I hook up my old retro console to a modern tv? Well if that's the question you are asking you have come to the right retro channel to find out.
Trying to hook up your Atari 2600 or Intelivision or even your ColecoVision to your modern HDMI connected TV? Tried using one of those adapters on the RF cable and it looks horrible? Yean we have all been there and done that. There has to be a better way besides buying an old CRT TV off of the internet or at a garage sale to get this working properly.
Well there is. It's called the TF to HDMI Analog TV connector that you can get on various sites quite easily. And in this video your retro lovers and experts, TheVespor and Ramsis will give you an unboxing and review of this device as they try to get their ColecoVision working on their small sized modern HDMI flatscreen tv they have on display here.
Please be sure to like, comment and subscribe and of course ring that bell if you like what you see here and want more where this came from.

Single Player - WCW Backstage Assault (2000)
Nintendo 64 (N64)
TheVespor - Solo Let's Play
Episode 10 of our N64 Wrestling Game Retrospective Series
Solo Console Let's Play
A solo Let's Play done by star of Vespor's Retro Reviews, TheVespor (along with the co-star of our show, Ramsis, doing commentary during this playthrough as well) showing gameplay of the Nintendo 64 Wrestling Game, WCW Backstage Assault by EA. The Tenth of our Wrestling Nintendo 64 based Retrospective for Season 3.
Not as bad as it would seem to be but definitely not a great game by any means for a wrestling game. The last of the regular released N64 wrestling games in NA and it's eh weird. Its the last hurrah for WCW and they tried to do something different, by making it all backstage fighting and for a brawler it's not bad. For a wrestling game it's eh. Graphics leave a lot to be desired as most of the characters look off and weird.
Once you run out of weapons to use the game gets dull and pinning is tough to do. It has a fun gimmick but not enough to keep your interest for long once you unlock areas and characters. It has its moments and the moves are easy to pull off which is a huge bonus as so many games don't even have that.
Oh well. Not terrible but forgettable for the most part.
This is our tenth game we are looking at in this Wrestling N64 retrospective.
You know the game, now watch TheVespor have fun explaining it all to you and with Ramsis of course along for the ride, it should be a blast from the past for us to enjoy once more. Here on Vespor's Retro Reviews.

Single Player - WWF No Mercy (2000)
Nintendo 64 (N64)
TheVespor - Solo Let's Play
Episode 9 of our N64 Wrestling Game Retrospective Series
Solo Console Let's Play
A solo Let's Play done by star of Vespor's Retro Reviews, TheVespor (along with the co-star of our show, Ramsis, doing commentary during this playthrough as well) showing gameplay of the Nintendo 64 Wrestling Game, WWF No Mercy by THQ. The Ninth of our Wrestling Nintendo 64 based Retrospective for Season 3.
The game was released by One of the Most Famous and Beloved of Wrestling games on the Nintendo 64, this is a classic and the final in great games as far as wrestling goes on the system. Made once again by AKI and released by THQ, it improves on everything the company did previously and gives you MOAR content but of course with some cuts made. Less graphics and no commentary but the rest is all a lot of fun. You can purchase items and upgrades and create your dream wrestler and lots of modes for you and three others to enjoy. There is a reason why this game is modded and changed and loved so much by fans.
This is our ninth game we are looking at in this Wrestling N64 retrospective.
You know the game, now watch TheVespor have fun explaining it all to you and with Ramsis of course along for the ride, it should be a blast from the past for us to enjoy once more. Here on Vespor's Retro Reviews.
With that all out the way let's once again.. Time to RING THAT BELL as the match is about to get underway!

Ramsis - Let's Play
First Mega Man on Game Boy
Retro Full Gameplay Playthrough
A solo Let's Play done by Ramsis (with co-commentary done by TheVespor) showing complete gameplay of the Gameboy Game 'Mega Man: Dr. Wily's Revenge' as we continue our look back at some of the earlier Game Boy games from the Nintendo Game Boy portable system.
This is a portable version of everyone's favorite robot hero, Mega Man, made specifically for the game boy with a brand new game. But using ideas and bosses from the first two Mega Man games on the NES. Full of four robot masters from the first game and four from the second as well as a new boss specifically for this game. As we enjoy a pretty good version of Mega Man done on the game boy by Nintendo.
Released by Capcom and made by another company, this is a version of Mega Man that any fan of the series will enjoy. Full of many stages, challenges and weapons that you acquire from defeating the other bosses in the game. All as you work your way to take down the evil Dr. Wily who wants his revenge against Mega Man once and for all.

ECW Hardcore Revolution (N64)| N64 Wrestling Retrospective #8 | 🤼🎮
Single Player Let's Play
Episode 66
Single Player - ECW Hardcore Revolution (2000)
Nintendo 64 (N64)
TheVespor - Solo Let's Play
Episode 8 of our N64 Wrestling Game Retrospective Series
Solo Console Let's Play
A solo Let's Play done by star of Vespor's Retro Reviews, TheVespor (along with the co-star of our show, Ramsis, doing commentary during this playthrough as well) showing gameplay of the Nintendo 64 Wrestling Game, ECW Hardcore Revolution by Acclaim. The Eighth of our Wrestling Nintendo 64 based Retrospective for Season 3.
The game was released by Acclaim and after losing the WWF license they had to find another federation to make wrestling games for on the N64 and they found, ECW. And well.. it's just a carbon copy of their previous game, WWF Attitude and plays even worse than that one did. Full of wrestlers you never heard of and controls that don't work or react properly, it's as bad as you would expect when a game for a lesser known federation is shoe horned into a previously existing game engine like this.
This is our eighth game we are looking at in this Wrestling N64 retrospective.
