How I improved my Lyman American 8
I've been bothered by the little bit of deflection in these turrupt presses for decades. From my very first Spartan T to my turret, to my turret II, to my MAG T, to this American eight reloading press. Each one except for the Spartan T has been sold off largely because of this flex or deflection in the turret head. This one has probably been one of the best in this regard, it's pretty minimal but it's there and all although I don't consider myself an OCD person it's always bothered me. I thought about shipping it actually did shim in the back and was able to remove all of the deflection. But it was a hassle you had to put the shim in every time any time you turn the turn you had to pull it back out and put it back in it was a Band-Aid at best. And I frankly almost stopped using the press because of it . In speaking with a friend of mine he was going to make me up some shims and I'm sure that would've worked but in thinking last night I realize that I could do exactly what I'm gonna show you here in this video. So I hope this helps someone it was pretty easy to do and I'm extremely satisfied with the results.

Bench top W/ Lyman 429244
This is my second for 29 to 44 mold and the second one that I've had small gas check shanks on. Not sure if I've got a batch of bad molds or if that's what they did with these. I know Sage used to make a small gas check 44 but I don't see it listed anymore so I'm gonna have to search and see if I can find some proper gas checks

Lyman 311410 mold & what it can cast plus
I've been waiting for this mold for a long time. Trying to buy it for almost 8 years. Missed a couple of auctions missed a couple of forums sales and I even was able to find some from a retailer and I bought some. I really like the way they work in the black out and my 32/20.

A really cool piece of history Ideal 358503
A really cool old mold designed before copper gas checks for really a popular thing.
A man named Jim Harvey back in the 40s combined with ideal bullet molds created a whole series of molds utilizing a zinc base to the bullet to combat leading.

Hows and whys of Annealing Brass cases
This is how I was taught and how I have always done it.
Yes you can spend allot more a d buy machines. But Im hear to tell you its easy dosen't take expensive equipment nor does it take very long.
Biggst argument FOR a machine is volume. If you have large volumes of cases needed. Your likely going to be better iff with a machine.

How I fixed this LEE die
Yes I lost adjustability. But once this is set there is little if any need to adjust it.

Why, I am done with Lee dies
The only reloading die sets that I I've had problems with, I've been Lee.
Know that, I have close to 70 sets of dies. I have been reloading since 1976. I have exactly seven of them that are Lee. Of those, five of them are Colette neck sizing days. Two of them are a regular standard die sets. One is this set and the other a 300k I also refuse to use.
Watch and see...

How I load 2 ball Buck shot 410 loads on 2.5" AA cases with my Cast .390 hard balls and Lil Gun powder.
These have Chronographed near 1700 fps for me. This is a substantial 410 load! Patterns inside 6"/7" @ 50 yards.

How I set up Reloading dies
This was a 6mm Rem rifle set. But its set up will carry for most all rifle die setups you might need to do.
There are different things for a pistol set. If ya want that I can do that video as well.
