When you smell this particular wine, it makes you think of a merlot or cabernet sauvignon but upon tasting this wine, it reminds me at least a lot more of a pinot noir. A quite complex wine with characteristics of dark fruit, perhaps sweetened plum, hints of spice and vanilla bean, much more acidic than tannin present and a much lighter wine than expected. Makes me excited to have it with dinner tonight and if you enjoyed make sure to hit that like button and follow the channel!

This (I believe) is the last bottle of wine from my former coworker's wedding, and it somehow was left in my wine fridge for quite a while! Pleasantly surprised that it was still palatable after so long because the rest of the wine from that wedding...it wasn't exactly the best! I am once again back with hopefully a much better dessert wine for my cookies and I got the crazy idea to add condensed milk as well to see what happens! While the condensed milk was not a good idea, it was a worse idea to add the condensed milk to the wine, as y'all will see shortly! Needless to say, I'm thinking this Milk Wine Tik Tok Challenge thing is completely idiotic and lots of people need billions of hours of therapy, naptime, and watching all my Rumble content, all the while leaving likes and following the channel as they completely and utterly enjoy!

I had hope that this wine wasn't going to taste and smell like a gasoline wine, yet once again my hopes were dashed! It's quite disappointing; while I shouldn't be surprised, I am certainly saddened! The last piece of this recording session with the condensed milk will be to combine Jim Bean Apple Whiskey with condensed milk to determine how it tastes. Have to be honest, probably a good reason why this isn't a thing; the whiskey is simply overpowering and the condensed milk doesn't really add any complexity or attractiveness. I expand upon last week's Tik Tok Milk Wine Challenge by using different liquors since I have them in my storage and I would like to use the condensed milk before it goes bad. In essence, this is a part three of this particular recording session and it's incredible! I did not realize this combination would add more complexity to the Amaretto and the taste is wonderful, almost like the cream Amaretto sold in liquor stores already! I was requested to perform a Tik Tok Challenge of mixing milk with wine and tasting it. After doing some research, the mixing of milk and wine is NOT a good idea, as mixing the acidic wine with alkaline milk will cause the milk to congeal and leave some nasty textures in the mixed drink. There is a drink that exists however that combines wine with condensed milk as well as fruit juice called Espanhola (Brazilian drink). In this video, I will use the wine I tasted last week to mix with condensed milk and see how it tastes. Make sure to leave a like and follow the channel if you enjoyed!

For some reason, this wine just gave me...good vibes...can't really explain it, but I felt...something...and it was weird...not going to lie...the nose and palette weren't entirely remarkable or unique; there was just...a good vibe...so weird!!! Would recommend the wine; don't get me wrong. My only Christmas gift wine bottle present, the nose wasn't particularly impressive with just dark fruit characteristics and possible oak barrel, while the palette reminded me of a drier version of an Apothic or Josh wine. Either me being sick for a week or leaving that wine in the wine fridge for so long completely left me with an opposite determination of what the wine was versus what the wine bottle said the characteristics are supposed to be. I felt the wine was a lot more like a Sauvignon Blanc with pear, melon, and cantaloupe as opposed to white peach and strawberry of a Rose. I am convinced the sugar plum fairy exists and decided to make this wine its personal favorite because plums were overpowering on both the nose and palette. While there was a hint of spice if you don't like plums, you may not like this wine. Does it need to be aged more? Perhaps, though I can't say I will be convinced at least for this vintage. The final vacation wine tasting was not even a wine that I wanted to have with dinner...mostly because I wanted it all for myself, but I was overruled by the rest of the family, so I guess I have to be nice and share this amazing wine, well balanced on acid and tannin, dark fruit characteristics with vanilla and cocoa bean, so delicious and succulent and extremely dangerous! Second wine tasting from vacation with the snow slowing up, I also managed to get the family into the video and I apologize we did not shout out the Rumble community; I got completely distracted by guests. The nose was a lot closer to a Cabernet Franc, yet there was more complexity on the palette closer to a Chianti. I don't know what's wrong with my nose; the wine was quite delicious though. The first of three vacation wine tastings to be released, it started to snow where I was staying and of course, I had to panic and consume wine! Somehow never knew this wine existed despite the rest of my family knowing about it, so of course I had to give my own review of such and not going to lie, it smelled more like a Sauvignon Blanc than a Chardonnay until I tasted it and the wine palette was a lot closer to a Chardonnay than a Sauvignon Blanc. I've been wanting to make Bolognese for a long while, but the acid reflux has not been friendly to me recently! So I decided to try a suggestion on the Internet to add a quarter teaspoon of baking soda to my sauce (and of course my sauce has to have wine in it), so there will be a free wine tasting as well! So, it took three weeks for the beer to become viable vinegar, tasted delicious, and the amount of mother was insane! Needless to say, it has been bottled and will soon be used for some fish and chips and I am excited to use it! Make sure to leave a like and follow the channel if you enjoyed!

After the first attempt of making wine vinegar, I discovered some of my beer bottles were expired and in need of being used for something else instead of outright disposal! What I have decided to do is remove the carbonation from one of the expired beer bottles, combine it with Bragg's Unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar in a mason jar, and will let it sit for about two months to hopefully make beer vinegar! It's been almost two months (from recording) and I am ready to try the homemade wine vinegar once again! While it smells like vinegar, it still tastes closer to a sweet wine, which is unfortunate as it has already been bottled for longer term storage. May keep it exposed to air from time to time as well as use it for lighter salads, but maybe next time ferment the full two months...maybe three...unsure...or use a different mother...lots of things to think about! Starting out the new year with a...white wine??? Hm, that's not normal for this channel! It's also quite acidic (OW), has quite a nasty bite for those not used to Sauvignon Blanc, yet it tastes quite delicious (what is wrong with me!?)! So the 3 Finger Jack video was done about a month ago, and it's been sitting with a special cork on it that allowed me to take the air out of the bottle. Last time I did this, the wine was not half bad which is strange because when I did this at my old apartment the wine would still go bad even after one day. Not going to lie, I thought this bottle was another sake and then I discovered rather quickly that it in fact wasn't, had to do research on the fly, and then for part 2 find something to complement it because there was no way I was drinking that straight! Since I have had to cut back on my wine consumption considerably, I have decided to use the excess leftover wine to make vinegar! Of course, I wanted some help by seeding with apple cider vinegar with mother as well as distilled white vinegar; no idea if that's a good idea, but that's what my first experiment here shall be! Apparently I was supposed to add hydrogen peroxide as well? Get actual mother as well? Clearly I have no idea what I'm doing! 18 months ago, I tried the 2018 Three Finger Jack on the YouTube channel (of the same name if anyone was curious) and it was so delicious I drank the whole thing! Which in those days wasn't that difficult; these days I will absolutely be ruined! Worrying about physical health later, this wine was shall I say...a letdown...needs to age about another year to really get those secondary characteristics that I loved...still a good wine to drink for most people of course, but to really get the best out of this wine another year of storage is something I would recommend! I'm going to need to have a talk with a certain Robert P (whoever you are) about this wine because this just WAS NOT IT! Barely any noticeable flavour or characteristics to this wine; I'm really hoping I just happened to pick up a bad bottle somehow because it was truly a letdown with a cherry of extreme acid reflux on top (OW!). Needless to say, I plan on diluting this bottle for some enjoyment and will probably use Welch's grape juice just to get some flavour in there! Also apparently supposed to be paired with pigeon? Anyone want to leave a comment or two how pigeon tastes? I'm disturbed yet curious! I was thinking of diluting this wine to help with my acid reflux but after tasting the wine, there is no way I could have diluted that wine! Reminded me a lot of an Apothic Inferno with the lovely balance of acid and tannin, vanilla bean/extract smell and taste and dark fruit characteristics. So I drank it straight...only was able to drink half the bottle though (I think the water mixed with baking soda had something to do with that), but I would highly recommend this wine!
