The Battle of Guan Du – 200
This video will explore The Battle of Guan Du, fought between Yuan Shao and Cao Cao. The victory was also the point at which Cao Cao became the dominant power in northern China, leading to the establishment of the state of Cao Wei in the Three Kingdoms period. The historian Carl Leban attributes Cao Cao's victory to one single strategic decision — the defender's choice of location. Leban asserts that Cao Cao chose Guandu as the place to make his stand because of his superior understanding of the relation between topography, logistics, and tactics over Yuan Shao. It was the issue about logistics that prompted Cao Cao to abandon the defence at the Yellow River. By luring Yuan Shao far south into Guandu, Cao Cao had forcibly extended Yuan Shao's supply lines and was thus able to pounce on his logistical disadvantage to gain a decisive victory.

Laeticia Aucerius in Dynasty Warriors 9:Empires
Making Rena Laeticia from Star Ocean: The SDivine Source y in DW9E
Laeticia's radiant and resolute personality is admired throughout the kingdom, yet her prim demeanor (curtsies when introducing herself, chastises Albaird for eavesdropping and Raymond for goading her retainer) and utmost decorum betray her penchant for wearing armor and remarkable skill with the dual blades. Curious and open-minded, Laeticia is quite accepting of the advanced technology she encounters on her journey. She also often finds people's flaws—such as Albaird's disposition or Welch's exuberance—amusing.

Giles de Rais (Caster) in Dynasty Warriors 9:Empires
Making Giles de Rais (Caster) from Fate Grand Order in DW9E
He was a French nobleman, ranked as a baron, and member of the military during the 15th century. He had a vast fortune, buying up many works of art, and it seemed to many that it would never deplete. His apex land holdings eventually exceeded those held by the Duke of Brittany and could be regarded as a threat to the king. He became a national hero during the Hundred Years War while serving under the Jeanne d'Arc after helping to recapture Orleans, and he was given the highest honor with the title of Marshal of France. Both were present at the coronation ceremony of King Charles, decorated as saviors and national heroes, and it became a memory that forever encapsulated his glory that even his corruption could not overwhelm. Gilles viewed Jeanne as the basis for everything to him, his sole salvation and the proof that God existed, so his pious heart fell into despair after Jeanne was executed as a heretic
Giles de Rais (Saber) in Dynasty Warriors 9:Empires
Making Giles de Rais (Saber) from Fate Grand Order in DW9E
A knight in his prime, at least when compared to his other self. With an honest and valorous personality. He is a lover of art. For Gilles de Rais, the holy woman Jeanne d'Arc was everything. One could say that she herself was the sole salvation in this depraved reality and, at the same time, the proof of God's existence for Gilles. Reality is bitter. The time to fall in darkness has come. The past shall never change. Regardless how much of an outstanding military man he is, it does not change the fact he is also a serial killer. However, even still he must continue to seek redemption forever.

Nu Wa in Dynasty Warriors 9: Empires
Making Nu Wa from Dynasty Warriors 3 in DW9E
Nüwa, also read Nügua, is a mother goddess, culture hero and a member of the Three Sovereigns of Chinese mythology. She is a god in Chinese folk religion and Taoism. She is credited with creating humanity and repairing the Pillar of Heaven.
Going back to more ancient times, the four pillars were broken; the nine provinces were in tatters. Heaven (outer-space) did not completely cover the earth. Earth did not hold up Heaven all the way around its circumference. Fires blazed out of control and could not be extinguished; water flooded in great expanses and would not recede. Ferocious animals ate blameless people; predatory birds snatched the elderly and the weak. Thereupon, Nüwa smelted together five-colored stones in order to patch up the azure sky, cut off the legs of the great turtle to set them up as the four pillars, killed the black dragon to provide relief for Ji Province, and piled up reeds and cinders to stop the surging waters. The azure sky was patched; the four pillars were set up; the surging waters were drained; the province of Ji was tranquil; crafty vermin died off; thus the blameless people preserved their lives.

Cait Sith in Dynasty Warriors 9:Empires
Making Cait Sith from FF7 in DW9E
Cait Sith rides on the back of a huge stuffed Mog he magically brought to life. Megaphone in hand, he's always shouting orders and creating dopey attacks...
The cat-sìth is a fairy creature from Celtic mythology, said to resemble a large black cat with a white spot on its chest. Legend has it that the spectral cat haunts the Scottish Highlands. Some common folklore suggested that the cat-sìth was not a fairy, but a witch that could transform into a cat nine times.
In the British folk tale "The King of the Cats", a man comes home to tell his wife and cat, Old Tom, that he saw nine black cats with white spots on their chests carrying a coffin with a crown on it. One of the cats tells the man to "Tell Tom Tildrum that Tim Toldrum is dead." Old Tom then exclaims, "What?! Old Tim dead! Then I'm the King o' the Cats!" The cat then climbs up the chimney and is never seen again.
