Best Climate And Water Conditions For Lotus Flower
A lotus flower tends to grow best in warmer climates however this does not mean that they cannot flourish in shady areas. However, in desert areas, it is preferable to cover these flowers in shade to avoid the scorching heat of the sun. A lotus flower is required to be kept at a temperature of at least 75 degrees Fahrenheit throughout summer for it to flourish in the best possible way. A lotus flower does best in about 18 inches or even deeper water. The flower is extremely adaptable to different water chemistries but you need to be wary of growing them in very hard and alkaline water that’s full of minerals. This is because they can accumulate the minerals in the water over time, thus harming the plant. If you are willing to grow lotus plants in a pot, it is advisable to flush out any hard water with fresh water to replace evaporation.

Purchase the seeds of this flower from any local retailer.

Notice the seeds for any roots emerging out of them and change the water daily.
When you notice roots, fill a small pot with loose garden loam and make an indentation in the top. Take these sprouted seeds and place them in the pot covering them lightly with garden loam.
Now place the pot containing the transplant in a container that holds two inches of water. Make sure that the water is warm and kept at a consistent two-inch depth.
Keep the container in a sunny spot so that the plant receives at least 8 hours of sunlight. Keep the plant in the same spot until it develops more roots and leaves.
Once the plant develops stronger roots and leaves transfer it to its final aquatic home.

Hungry peacocks are no match for nest of aggressive fire ants
Hungry peacocks are no match for nest of aggressive fire ants
Rumble / Wild Wildlife — India is home to an incredible variety of wild animals, including the peacock, one of the most spectacular birds found anywhere. They are large and beautifully adorned with the longest feathers found anywhere. The Indian peafowl will eat snakes and rodents, but its diet is largely made up of insects. These peafowl have found a nest of ants and they hungrily devour as many as they can.
But the ants have signaled that there is trouble and the excretion of a pheromone from a few have alerted the others and brought them out in an agitated frenzy. They will bite anything that they sense is a threat and the peacocks suddenly find themselves in over their heads. The swarm of fire ants on the ground is visible as they move rapidly, in search of any predator. Their great numbers allow them to overwhelm even a large predator with multiple stings and strong venom.
If these peacocks do not leave the area, they can easily die from the venom. In such a case, the ants will devour the peacocks, turning the tables.
The male has sensed the presence of the ants and he tries to eat them off his feet and legs as they sting him aggressively. The female decides there is no hope of winning and she takes flight almost immediately. Eventually, the male leaves as well. The fire ants cannot follow him far, but the few that remain on his legs will hold on and sting him mercilessly until he rids himself of the tiny warriors.
Imported red fire ants are an invasive species to India, having made their way from South America. The stings cause itching, burning, and swelling, often resulting in blisters. In rare cases anaphylactic shock can occur and may cause death. Nests hold between 100,000 and 250,000 ants and they are a formidable opponent for any animal.

Dog Has A Loud Reaction When His Couch Privileges Are Denied
Rumble / Dogs & Puppies — Reuben the Bulldog's family was told when they got him that he would require large amounts of love and attention. How true this turned out to be! They were happy to provide it, but every now and then.... they need some time to relax. Here's a moment where Reuben sees his owner relaxing on the couch, attempting a short nap, but that won't do if he's not right there on top of the situation....literally.
The wrinkly pooch comes over to his owner lounging on the couch and demands attention with the sweetest noise his little stubby nose can produce. When the dog notices that his whines don’t work anymore, he tries to jump on top, but is too short to make it, so instead he blew his nose all over his owner’s face!
“He just sprayed me in the face with cheese smelling...mucus,” says the human to the camera and we are already starting to lose our composure. But this Bulldog finds none of this even remotely funny, so he makes this adorably sad face, bows his head down and walks over to his own bed.
“Well look at that, how novel. He is actually using his own bed. For once,” continues the human, indicating that the dog bed they got Reuben is so rarely used, since the pooch prefers to lay on top of his owner.
Reuben has had it with his couch privileges being denied, he starts barking at the dog bed and stomps all over it. He even kicks it around for good measure! He can pout all he wants
