I'm showing how to use the autopilot on a sailboat in heading mode, wind vane mode and how to tack using the autopilot.

It is possible to steer a sailboat just by trimming the sails. In this video I show how the boat keeps the same course, with no action on the helm, just by balancing the fore and aft sails properly. If the wind is relatively stable, the boat would keep sailing in a more or less straight line.

I'm showing how to tie a proper cleat hitch. This is perhaps the most frequently used boating knot. It can be tied quickly and untied and freed even under load so it's ideal for mooring.
