Pt 1 The Connection Between Skin, Nutrition, & Mental Health
Is there an association between pale skin and anxiety? In this video I try to explain that there is, and that it has everything to do with what we eat, or more so what we don't eat enough of these days. I've experienced first hand how greatly nutrition can affect both the visible and invisible signs of health. Today I see so many people who fit a pattern, a pattern I find obvious. Amazingly, I feel as though I'm all alone in seeing this pattern and even more alone in being willing and able to explain it. This is a sensitive topic, I know, but I also know how hard it is to suffer with poor mental health, and how powerful understanding is in bringing about positive change. This is my best attempt at communicating my understanding. I hope it helps someone.
Disclaimer: I am not a healthcare professional and nothing I say is professional healthcare advice in any way.
This is part 1 of 5 where I introduce my back story and the pattern I see.
In part 2 I explain how I see mental health as largely a reflection of physical health.
In part 3 I discuss cholesterol and it's many connections with mental, sexual and digestive health.
Part 4 introduces both carotenoids and iron as important nutrients for looking and feeling our best.
Part 5 brings awareness to the dangers of endocrine disrupting chemicals before summarizing with a conclusion and finishing off my own personal story of health and nutrition up to present.

Poem: The sixth of my senses (pt 1/5)
The sixth of my senses, at least so it seems, is one I share with very few.
I see sick people.
I see them everyday.
I see them in perfect view.

Does mold & fungus in your gut make you sick, violent & hormonally imbalanced? Ep 2 Asa Santiago
Chatting with Asa was a treat and we got into all sorts of niche health topics. Asa was also kind enough to let me explain some new ideas and research I've been looking into. We talk about sex differences, polarity, supplements, gut microbes, and how our inner health can make us "sinful", in a word.
Asa runs Polarity Health LLC, a company focused on guiding their clients toward harnessing optimal gut health, relationship fulfillment, and spiritual alignment to bring all of who someone is meant to be into reality.

I made my lighting and setup much, much better from the first episode. I'll be continually striving to make the episodes as great as I can. On that note, if you enjoy this content, even a little, do me the huge favour of liking, sharing and subscribing. It makes a big difference for me and will allow me to convince more people to come on the show. Thanks.

Ep 1 Derek Nance, tribalism, cancel culture, meat censorship, medical & scientific dogma
*YouTube deleted this podcast because of something Derek said*
We jumped into things with a rolling start so here's a little introduction for Derek.
Derek Nance is a brilliantly creative and open minded autodidact who's learned a wealth of information along his journey to heal from chronic health issues. Derek focuses on living a clean, nutritious, holistic lifestyle, and it clearly works for him. His clarity in skin is matched only by his clarity in mind. No longer chronically fatigued, brain fogged and depressed, Derek enjoys great quality of life and well-being attributing the turn around largely to meticulous attention to diet, clean spring water, and being outdoors to soak up loads of sunlight and fresh air. Most outstanding, one might think about Derek, is that about 90% of his diet consists of mature sheep (mutton) raised as organically as possible. But what's even more interesting is that he slaughters and harvests the meat himself, and dry ages it in the fridge until he consumes the entire animal "tongue to tail" completely raw over the course of a few weeks. We never got into discussing his diet because I find he's fascinating to chat with on so many other levels, but I intend to have him on again when he has more time, specifically to discuss diet and nutrition, focusing on what has and hasn't worked for him.
You can tell Derek doesn't subscribe to the same media and academy-curated beliefs the majority of people do. So listen to us go off on tangents about all sorts of alternative topics, from how ruling classes of past and present like to limit the meat intake of the common folk as a means of subjugation and control, to what the reductionist scientific and medical views today can't seem to see, or refuse to look at, about a wider image of what it means to be healthy.
I obviously need to work on my lighting, I know, but please let me know about what else you'd like to see from me. Your feedback, both positive and negative, is appreciated. This is only the humble beginnings of what I fully intend to make a very popular podcast so please like and subscribe now so you can watch the channel take off and know you were an early supporter.

Here's the full poem that was dispersed throughout parts 1-5
The sixth of my senses, at least so it seems, is one I share with very few.
I see sick people.
I see them every day.
I see them in perfect view.
The causes of illness forbode from deep within.
Whenceforth, though invisible to some, I see the signs exude on thy skin.
With better words, with better mind, with better heart, could I explain all that I see?
to those sensitive souls who languish.
They languish, in a place they know not that they may leave,
as if tethered, taut, with unseen strings, to the every thought they so falsely believe.
Their escape, is but not even a dream,
and yet, at least so it seems, is a vision of which only I have ever seen.
Lord help me, share this vision, if it's the very last thing I ever do.
Help me, help me, help me, share this vision, and not just with the very few.
