Mention of the term, ‘military-industrial complex’, garnering public attention in Dwight D. Only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry can compel the proper meshing of the huge industrial and military machinery of defense with our peaceful methods and goals so that security and liberty may prosper together.” Current iterations of this assembly extended to include Congress, the previous descriptor having since been amended to ‘military-industrial-congressional complex’ (MICC), with the merger of various intergovernmental networks and agencies devoted to ensuring the fiscal longevity of corporations and institutions tied directly to a myriad host of military defense contractors. This consolidation of influence perpetuated by the Pentagon, the House of Representatives, and the executive branch of the U.S. Federal Government. The symbiotic relationship between each of the aforementioned entities forming the basis of what author Gordon Adams described as an “iron triangle”, a concept predicated on the cotermity of congressional committees, bureaucratic appendages, and advocacy groups in the formulation of foreign and domestic policy. Pence, not unlike the vast majority of public officials occupying positions of authority in Washington, D.C., routinely feigns “ignorance” regarding the plight of those whose economic status qualifies them for inclusion in lower income-specific quintiles. Prior to his appointment into office as the 48th Vice President of the United States, a number of concerns rose to prominence regarding Pence’s reputation and moral constitution beyond the sociopolitical arena, most notably, accusations of sexual impropriety and capital murder. In 2016, then Indiana state Governor Mike Pence was formally accused of murdering 51 children and raping an additional 77 prepubescent youth by Tory Smith, a professional landscaper who published a series of videos on YouTube’s social networking utility up until his demise on July of that same year (1). Less open for public debate, however, is the formal approval for the construction of a biosafety level 4 equivalent facility specializing in the manufacture and distribution of mRNA vaccines in Bloomington, Indiana, that was authorized by Vice President Mike Pence in 2020 (3). General Soleimani was actively developing plans to attack American diplomats and service members in Iraq and throughout the region. General Soleimani and his Quds Force were responsible for the deaths of hundreds of American and coalition service members and the wounding of thousands more. He had orchestrated attacks on coalition bases in Iraq over the last several months – including the attack on December 27th – culminating in the death and wounding of additional American and Iraqi personnel. General Soleimani also approved the attacks on the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad that took place this week. This strike was aimed at deterring future Iranian attack plans.
