Episode 257: The Water of God's Word is the living way
Hello everyone. In today's Bible study we continue with our series on the New Birth, Born from Above. Today's study will show the transition from the newly created human spirit to the modification of the Believer's behavior in the body.
This transition is the natural progression of the Born Again experience. Salvation through the regeneration of the Holy Spirit, the forgiveness of sins through the blood of Christ, and a renewed godlike manner of thinking called the living way empowered by the Holy Spirit.
What the new birth and the living way does not do is take away the natural consequences of sin which produces death. First the curse on all creation due to Satan's and Adam's sins. Second the curse of futility which literally means decay or the progression of dying. Third the consequences of the corporate and individual sins which everyone sow and reap.
From these things, there is no escape.
Today's Bible study is 1 hour and 13 minutes in duration. I have broken it down into three segments. This is segment 1 of 3 titled "Why do Believer's get sick?"

Episode 258: The Biblical meaning of not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together
We have been told for years that the Bible teach that believers should not forsake assembling together at church. Is that what God was talking about through the writer of Hebrews in chapter 10?
Hebrews 10:25
not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
What Day? Do you know?
No, that is not the context of the writing. While we should attend the assembly of believers for our respective edification through corporate worship, prayer, Bible study, and fellowship, we should not take God's word out of its context to express a desire outcome.

Episode 251: Born from Above_The washing of regeneration by the Holy Spirit
Hello everyone. In today's Bible study we continue with our theme "Born from Above". This is a requirement to get into heaven.
According to the scriptures being born from above is an metamorphosis performed solely by the Holy Spirit. The scriptures calls it a regeneration. That means the killing and annihilation of the old human spirit and the creation of a new human spirit with a new nature.
Jesus called this process passing "from death to life". What then does God use to bring about this regeneration? Listen carefully to the apostle Paul.
Romans 1:16
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it (the gospel of Christ) is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.
Then what about those who have never heard the gospel? What will happen to them?
The scriptures provide the answer to those questions. God is not hiding from questions from men although He is not obligated to provide an answer nor is He answerable any of the creatures He created.
Romans 9:16-21
You will say to me then, “Why does He still find fault? For who has resisted His will?” But indeed, O man, who are you to reply against God? Will the thing formed say to him who formed it, “Why have you made me like this?” Does not the potter have power over the clay, from the same lump to make one vessel for honor and another for dishonor?

Episode 228: How do I obtain the glory of God? part 1
Hello everyone. In today's Bible study we answer the question, since we are all born in sin and come short of the glory of God, "how do I obtain the glory of God?"
In Romans 3:23 the scripture reads, "For all have sinned". While this is absolutely true most people tend to ignore the remainder of the verse as if it is not just as important as the first segment.
The next segment of verse 23 states "and have come short of God's glory."
Friend, do you understand that as a sinner, it is not sufficient to just be forgiven of your sins? Let me give you a brief explanation.
The death of Christ is sufficient for the forgiveness of sins. A one time sacrifice that satisfies the righteous judge of a holy God against the sinner. However there remains a serious problem. DEATH has no glory.
In order to come into God's presence one must be alive and must possess the same quality of glory that God has. How then is that possible for the forgiven yet dead sinner? The resurrection of Christ by the glory of the Father!
The forgiven sinner is imputed the righteous glory that Christ received from the Father when He raised Jesus from the dead!
As it is written: Romans 11:33
Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!
Today's study is 1 hour and 7 minutes in duration therefore I have broken it into two segments. This is segment 1 of 2 titled "how do I obtain the glory of God? part 1"
