Are God and the Demigods Equal?
Previous to roughly 200-250 years ago, the vast majority of followers of authentic Sanatana Dharma understood that God and the lessor gods were not interchangeable, equal, or simply different names for the same person. With the arriving of modernity, however, the legitimate Vedic understanding of the relationship of the gods to God became extremely muddled to the point where we find ourselves today. Today, most neo-Hindus and New Age zealots believe that all the gods are exactly the same being, and are equal to the Supreme Godhead. In this groundbreaking talk, Sri Dharma Pravartaka Acharya examines Lord Krishna’s direct teachings in the Bhagavad Gita on this topic in which He boldly proclaims all the lessor gods and goddesses to be sustained by Him alone.
“Those whose minds are distorted by material desires surrender unto demigods and follow the particular rules and regulations of worship according to their own natures.” (Bhagavad Gita, 7.20)
“Endowed with such a faith, he seeks favors of a particular demigod and obtains his desires. But in actuality these benefits are bestowed by Me alone.” (Bhagavad Gita, 7.22)
“Men of small intelligence worship the demigods, and their fruits are limited and temporary. Those who worship the demigods go to the planets of the demigods, but My devotees ultimately reach My supreme planet.” (Bhagavad Gita, 7.23)
“Those who know Me as the Supreme Lord, as the governing principle of the material manifestation, who know Me as the one underlying all the demigods and as the one sustaining all sacrifices, can, with steadfast mind, understand and know Me even at the time of death.” (Bhagavad Gita, 7.30)
“Whatever a man may sacrifice to other gods, O son of Kunti, is really meant for Me alone, but it is offered without true understanding.” (Bhagavad Gita, 9.23)
“Those who worship the demigods will take birth among the demigods; those who worship ghosts and spirits will take birth among such beings; those who worship ancestors go to the ancestors; and those who worship Me will live with Me.” (Bhagavad Gita, 9.25)
“Neither the hosts of demigods nor the great sages know My origin, for, in every respect, I am the source of the demigods and the sages.” (Bhagavad Gita, 10.2)
“Men in the mode of goodness worship the demigods; those in the mode of passion worship the demons; and those in the mode of ignorance worship ghosts and spirits.” (Bhagavad Gita, 17.4)

How to Succeed in Yoga
Please note that the livestreams are now Sundays at 2pm Central Time.
Yoga is the most effective and systematic spiritual discipline on earth, without exception. Yoga is nothing less than the religion of Sanatana Dharma experienced in practical application. Yoga is not an easy path. But it is a joyful path which, if followed seriously and with great determination, will bring us to the point of both self-realization and God-consciousness.
In this very important talk, Sri Dharma Pravartaka Acharya explains to us exactly how we can succeed in the practice of Yoga, and experience the joyful realization of our true self.
“Yoga arises from strict concentration, practice, firm resolution, continued antipathy in worldly affairs, and not by any other means.” (Daksha Samhita, 7.6)
“Yoga is accomplished by finding pleasure in the meditation on the true self, by the joy of purity and by the consideration of all creatures as equally consciousness, and not by any other means.” (Daksha Samhita, 7.7)
“He who is devoted to the true self; who daily revels in true self; who is given to the culture of the true self; who is always engaged in meditation on the true self; who is by nature fond of the true self; who is contented; who does not have his mind attached to any other object; and who is well-satisfied with the true self; he succeeds in attaining to Yoga.” (Daksha Samhita, 7.8-9)

Curing the Poison of the Kali Yuga - Part Six
Part Six of a Series
In this unparalleled teaching series, Sri Acharyaji provides us with an extensive explanation of how to deprogram ourselves and purify our minds from the bondage of the evil of our present era, and to equip us with the positive philosophical medicine that we all need in order to restore ourselves, our families, and our world to spiritual health.
In Part Six, Sri Dharma Pravartaka Acharya resolves a wide variety of topics revolving around the issue of love and marriage, the nature of beauty and the aesthetic, and predominance/subservience hierarchy from the Vedic perspective. These, and many other, 'controversial' topics are definitively discussed by Sri Acharyaji.

The Priesthood of Sanatana Dharma
One of the most important institutions of the religion of Sanatana Dharma is its ancient priesthood. Priests are generally known as brahmanas in the Vedic religion. There are several different types of Vedic priests. In this fascinating talk, Sri Dharma Pravartaka Acharya comments on several verses from the Vishnu Samhita and explains the characteristics of the different types of priests in Sanatana Dharma.
“He who having initiated and counselled brahmacharya to a twice-born one and gives him instructions in the Vedas is called an Acharya.” (Vishnu Samhita, 29.1)
“He who teaches a twice-born pupil an entire Veda in consideration of fees, or a portion of the Vedas without fees, is called an Upadhyaya.” (Vishnu Samhita, 29.2)
“He who officiates as a priest at one’s yajna is called one’s Rittvik.” (Vishnu Samhita, 29.3)
“One should not officiate as a priest at the sacrifice of a man whose birth, conduct, etc., are thoroughly unknown, nor one should initiate such a man with the thread, nor teach him the Vedas.” (Vishnu Samhita, 29.4-6)
“Whichever of the persons who either asks a question he has no right to ask, or who answers a question which he has no right to answer, meets his doom, or else a bitter animosity is created between both discursive parties.” (Vishnu Samhita, 29.7)

Sanatana Dharma: The Foundation of Western Civilization
Previous to four-thousand years ago, Sanatana Dharma (Vedic civilization) was the commonly shared world-view of all the Indo-European peoples, stretching from Ireland to South-East Asia, and including every nation in between. Sanatana Dharma is not "foreign" to ancient Europe. On the contrary, Vedic civilization was the very foundation of early Western civilization. Sanatana Dharma is the ancient heritage of all European people!

The Dharma of Vegetarianism
One of the most foundational and steadfast ethical principles of the religion of Sanatana Dharma is strict vegetarianism. All serious followers of the Vedic path are committed lacto-vegetarians, and thus refrain from eating any form of meat, fish or eggs (veganism, on the other hand, is anathema to Sanatana Dharma). In this special livestream, Sri Dharma Pravartaka Acharya explains the Vedic principle of vegetarianism by examining several sacred verses from the Vishnu Dharma Shastra (also known as the Vishnu Samhita).
“A self-controlled brahmana, whether dwelling in the forest, or in his own house, or in the house of his preceptor, shall never engage in any killing that is unsanctioned by the Vedas.” (Vishnu Samhita, 51.66)
“Acts of killing which are sanctioned by the Vedas in this world should be regarded as acts of non-killing, since it is from the Vedas that all religious virtue has emanated.” (Vishnu Samhita, 51.67)
“He who for his own pleasure kills harmless beasts should be regarded as dead in life; such a man shall know no happiness, here or hereafter.” (Vishnu Samhita, 51.68)
“He who desists from inflicting pain on any animal, either of death or confinement, is really the well-wisher of all creatures. Such a man enjoys extreme happiness.” (Vishnu Samhita, 51.69)
“He who has eradicated all killing propensities shall obtain what he will contemplate, work toward, or fix his heart upon.” (Vishnu Samhita, 51.70)
“Meat can not be obtained without killing a living creature. Killing leads to hell. Therefore, let a man refrain from killing any creature whatsoever.” (Vishnu Samhita, 51.71)
“Considering the origin of meat, and with an eye to the pain which an animal suffers in death or incarceration, let a man refrain from eating all forms of meat.” (Vishnu Samhita, 51.72)
“He who does not eat meat in transgression of the precepts of the Vedas, like a malevolent flesh-eating demon (Pishacha), earns the love of all, and enjoys an immunity from disease.” (Vishnu Samhita, 51.73)
“He who sanctions the killing of an animal, he who quarters its dead body after killing, he who actually kills it with his own hand, its seller and purchaser, he who cooks its meat, he who serves out the cooked meat to the diners and he who eats it - these are all the killers.” (Vishnu Samhita, 51.74)
“The animal whose flesh I consume this life shall eat my flesh in the next life. This is the etymology of the term 'mamsa' (meat) as given by the wise”. (Vishnu Samhita, 51.78)

Arya-Manushya: The Noble Man
The highest goal for any well-qualified citizen of Vedic civilization is to personify in his being what the Vedic scriptures term an Arya-Manushya, or a Noble Man. The Vedic literature, philosophy and culture paint a very clear and unabiguous portrait of how the Noble Man acts and behaves. In this special livestream talk, Sri Dharma Pravartaka Acharya explains to us the inner characteristics, qualities and attributes of the Arya Manushya.
“Of a hundred people, only one is born a hero; of a thousand people, only one is a wise man; and of a hundred thousand people, one may be an orator. I am hesitant to say whether a man of true charities will ever take his birth or not.” (Vyasa Samhita, 4.58)
“A conquest alone does not make a hero, nor do studies alone make a wise man. Eloquence alone does not make a person an orator, nor do gifts make a charitable man.” (Vyasa Samhita, 4.59)
“He who has conquered his senses is the real hero. He who practises virtues is really wise. A speaker is he who discusses satisfying and beneficial topics, and he who gives with reverence is the maker of true gifts.” (Vyasa Samhita, 4.60)
“A hero is not spoken of as one who has merely forcibly taken possession of another’s kingdom. Rather, he who has controlled all of his senses is described by the learned as a true hero.” (Daksha Samhita, 7.18)

The Dharma of Leadership: Acharyaji Addresses Generation Identity (Germany)
This is one of our boldest videos ever released. "The Dharma of Leadership" is the video recording of an historic and courageous talk given by Sri Dharma Pravartaka Acharya to an audience of leaders of the Generation Identity movement in Germany. In it, Sri Acharyaji discusses European and world history, contemporary politics, principles of perfect leadership, as well as Vedic philosophy. Due to the potentially "controversial" nature of this video, the official release will be exclusively on our Rumble, Odysee and BitChute channels.

The Path to LIberation
The ultimate goal for all sincere practitioners of the Vedic path is full existential liberation - freedom from every ounce of illusion and the full embrace of God’s Truth. In this livestream talk, Sri Dharma Pravartaka Acharya explains to us what is the path to liberation according to the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita.
“When one's intelligence, mind, faith and refuge are all fixed in the Supreme, then one becomes fully cleansed of misgivings through complete knowledge and thus proceeds straight on the path of liberation.” (Bhagavad Gita, 5.17)
“One whose happiness is within, who is active within, who rejoices within and is illumined within, is actually the perfect yogi. He is liberated in the Supreme, and ultimately he attains the Supreme.” (Bhagavad Gita, 5.24)
“One who is beyond duality and doubt, whose mind is engaged within, who is always busy working for the welfare of all sentient beings, and who is free from all sins, achieves liberation in the Supreme.” (Bhagavad Gita, 5.25)

Alcohol is Not the Answer
Alcohol is a disastrous poison that too many people use as a way of coping with the crazy challenges that today's chaotic world throws at us. Alcohol is not, though, the answer that we are seeking. What we are actually looking for is to be found deep within. It is the life-changing encounter with God that the Vedic path has to offer us.

Hollywood: An Epistemology of Lies
Hollywood, Bollywood and all mainstream media outlets exist for the sole purpose of propagandizing and brainwashing our people into believing lies about our history. As Sri Dharma Pravartaka Acharya explains in this short but eye-opening clip, we are not to take history lessons from Hollywood, but from the actual eye witnesses to recent history - our elders.

The Dharma of Respecting Our Elders
All traditional (i.e., well-functioning) societies stress the importance of offering our deepest respects to our elders as an indispensable aspect of spiritual culture. In this very important talk, Sri Dharma Pravartaka Acharya explains to us why having respect for our elders is foundational to Vedic civilization and spiritual progress, and how such respect is to be offered today.
“Seeing an elderly person, one should get up and salute him or her with folded palms. One should not sit with the elders, nor should one quarrel with them on any account.” (Ushana Dharma Shastra, 1.28)
“Even for preserving his own life, one should not injure or speak ill of elderly persons. Even when endowed with other accomplishments, a person who injures elders goes downwards.” (Ushana Dharma Shastra, 1.29)
“Of all elderly persons, five types are to be particularly adored: the father, the mother, the spiritual guide (guru), the teacher and the priest. Of these, the first three are the foremost; and of those three, a mother is to be particularly adored.” (Ushana Dharma Shastra, 1.30)
“One who gives habitation even for a day, one who gives instructions even for a moment, the eldest brother, the protector, and the husband in case of a woman, are the five gurus, (elderly persons worthy of respect).” (Ushana Dharma Shastra, 1.31)
“With one’s best personal exertion, these five should be adored by one seeking his own well-being, even to the point of the renouncement of his own life.” (Ushana Dharma Shastra, 1.32)

The Interfacing of Sanatana Dharma with Modernity
In what is now one of the most important interviews conducted with Sri Dharma Pravartaka Acharya in recent years, the earth's leading Vedic spiritual teacher discusses the history of Sanatana Dharma's encounter with the post-ancient world, beginning from the very start of the Kali Yuga down to the present day. Acharya explains the encounter of Vedic spirituality with modern ideologies, modern religions, and modern culture, as well as what the future of Sanatana Dharma will be in light of the coming integration of Sanatana Dharma with the very best of what the modern West has to offer. Does a person today have to give up their own ancestral heritage in order to follow Sanatana Dharma? Is Vedic culture "foreign" to Westernkind? Can we be both Westerners and Dharmis at the same time? You will not want to miss this very frank and enlightening two hour long interview!

Cultivating Healthy Pride in Born Hindus
In July, 2019, Sri Dharma Pravartaka Acharya was interviewed on a major Hindu television program. He spoke directly to an international audience of predominantly Indian Hindus explaining that they should feel tremendous pride in having been born in the Vedic tradition. Rather than merely being "nominal Hindus", Sri Acharyaji explained to his audience, Indian Hindus should take their religion very seriously and practice it in their daily lives.

Principles of Vedic Marriage
Two of the most important and foundational institutions of Sanatana Dharma, and of basic human culture generally, are marriage and family. Family is the central building block of any true Vedic civilization, and family is itself predicated upon a healthy, loving and traditional marriage. In this very important livestream, Sri Dharma Pravartaka Acharya examines the teachings of the Yajnavalkya Samhita on how to have a healthfully functioning Vedic marriage today. If you are either married or are contemplating getting married, do not miss this important talk.
“Remembering the vow of women, being faithfully devoted to one’s own wife and being influenced by desire proportionate to hers, one can know his wife, for it is laid down in the Smritis that women should be protected by every means.’’ (Yajnavalkya Samhita, 1.81)
“Women should always be adored by the husband, brother, father, kinsman, mother-in-law, father-in-law, husband’s younger brother and the other relatives with ornaments, clothes and food.” (Yajnavalkya Samhita, 1.82)
“Women should keep the household articles in order, be expert in domestic works, contented, economical in expenditure, offering respectful obeisances to their mothers-in-law and fathers-in-law and be devoted to their husbands.” (Yajnavalkya Samhita, 1.83)
“A woman, whose husband is absent from home, should renounce sports, personal decorations, the witnessing of social festivities, meaningless amusement, and visiting other people’s houses.” (Yajnavalkya Samhita, 1.84)
“A father should protect a woman when she is a maiden; a husband after she is married; and a son, in her old age. In the absence of a legitimate protector, the kinsmen should protect her. Unprotected indulgence is not beneficial for womankind.” (Yajnavalkya Samhita, 1.85)
“A woman, having no husband, should be taken care of by the father, mother, son, brother, mother-in-law, father-in-law, or maternal uncle ; otherwise she will be an object of disapproval by the community.” (Yajnavalkya Samhita, 1.86)
“The woman who is devoted to the well-being of her husband, is observant of good conduct and has her senses under restraint, reaps glory in this world and incomparable bliss in the next.” (Yajnavalkya Samhita, 1.87)

Who is the Supreme Person?
Within the context of the materialistic Kali Yuga, there has been some speculative debate about who is the Supreme Person in the Vedic tradition. As we have seen, however, there is no debate within the Vedic scriptures themselves on this very important question. All the Vedic scriptures speak with one united voice in declaring that it is Sriman Narayana, and Sriman Narayana alone, who constitutes the Supreme Person. In this enlightening talk, Sri Dharma Pravartaka Acharya examines several verses from the Kurma Purana that definitively state who is the Supreme Person.
"That is Vishnu from whom the living beings are created and into whom the whole world gets merged. He is the Atman of all living beings. By resorting to Him one is liberated. They call Him the greatest deity beyond the imperishable and the deity resting in the cavity of the heart. He is the highest bliss; the great firmament. He is remembered as Nārāyaṇa. He is ever transcendental, unrestricted by conditions, perpetual bliss and absolutely pure.” (Kurma Purana, 22.74-76)
“Expounders of Brahman call Him the Brahman of three syllables: AUM. He is Vāsudeva, the soul of the universe, the Supreme Self and the Supreme Person. Lord Brahmā and even the great Lord Rudra (Shiva), are born from a portion of His personality. This Puruṣhottama (Supreme Person) should be propitiated by a man in accordance with the holy duties of his own varna and aśhrama. He should be propitiated without cherishing any desire in return and as a sacred vow, and not in any other way." (Kurma Purana, 22.78-81)

Principles of Virtue for Vedic Citizens
Traditionally, there have always been a number of accepted principles of behavior that are considered standard for anyone who wishes to be considered an honorable member of Vedic society. These many principles are found throughout the totality of the Vedic scriptures. In this livestream talk and Q&A session, Sri Dharma Pravartaka Acharya focuses on one such list of civilized behavior that is found in the Vishnu Dharma Shastra, an important sacred text that is found in the Dharma Shastra sub-genre of the Vedic literature.
"Forgiveness, truthfulness, self-control, purity, charity, restraint of senses, abstention from injury, service toward the elders, journeying on pilgrimage, mercy, simplicity, absence of avarice, adoration of the murtis and brahmanas, and renunciation of envy are spoken of as the general duties of all followers of Vedic culture". (Vishnu Dharma Shastra, 2, 7-8)
