Previously, on Lunch Stream and Chill... Rofure, Oulander Monk, is captive to the Illithid, who put a "tadpole" in his brain. The tadpole will turn him into a mindflayer unless he finds help. By luck or fate, Rofure's captors are attacked by Gith and their dragons. The Mindflayers try to evade them by teleporting through multiple planes. Rofure is able to escape in the chaos. He meets fellow captives Shadowheart and Lae'zel, fights his way to the bridge of the ship and teleports it away from danger. However, the ship is too damaged and crashes. Separated from his friends and captors, Rofure tries to Get His Bearings. New series, new game, new hat, same Lunch Stream and Chill. Today, we will start Baldur's Gate 3. The goal for Session 0 is character creation and playing through the introduction. Lots of cutscenes today. I played the introduction and part of Act 1 during early access, then decided to wait to play until after full launch and introduction of the Monk. Aside from that experience, I have avoided most spoilers up to this point to have a fun playthrough with surprises. I will likely use build recommendations from Reddit or Steam communities.
