Navigating Through MAZE, A New WIP Atari Jaguar Homebrew
DrTypo is back, this time with the Simulcra-like game, Maze. Although I'd suggest calling it CyberMaze. Give it some more mazes and a scoring system and you've got a real game going.
"Konami Morning Music" - Various Arcade Games [Konami, Arcade, 1985-87]
Here is the music that would play for certain Konami arcade games like Gradius/Nemesis, which originally ran on a unique type of memory called "Bubble Memory." It needed a couple of minutes to literally warm up, so instead of just having a blank screen, Konami added some flare by composing a song to play during the boot-up process.
Golvellius - Valley of Doom [Compile/Sega, Sega Master System, 1988]

"Saturn" - Space Invaders [Game Boy Color; Z-Axis; 1999]
Space Invaders has been ported to almost every system out there, Nintendo's Game Boy Color included. Many ports never had music but this one did, since it came out in 1999 when a game with just sound effects wouldn't cut it.
Taito is celebrated 45 years of Space Invaders in 2023

"You Win" - Alien Vs. Predator [Atari Jaguar; Rebellion/Atari; 1994]
While most of this game featured ambient noise, Rebellion's first take on the AvP franchise for Atari's last console did have music for when the player would beat one of the three campaigns in the game (Marine, Predator, Alien),as well as for the title screen.

"Dark Torvus Catacombs" - Metroid Prime 2: Echoes [Nintendo Gamecube; Retro/Nintendo; 2004]
When it comes to dark, spooky music on Halloween, it's hard to compete with the darkest entry in the Metroid Prime series, Echoes. The Dark Torvus Catacombs joins the Bog track by setting the mood of terror of a bounty hunter alone on a haunted planet.

Originally intended to launch in 1996 on Atari's failed console, the completed game was picked up by Songbird Productions and released in 2000. It brought run 'n gun platforming to the console that was a little more Metroid than Contra, although it was split up into stages as opposed to open world.

An electronic remix of Pac-Man's classic theme, spiced up with some additional arcade sounds. Originally produced by "Aphex Twin," whoever you are. I want to say this was composed in the late 90s/early 2000s but I'm not certain of that..I just know it is older than 10

"YOU JUST DON'T GET IT" - Original Song Written For The Atari Lynx By TOBIKOMI
The Atari Lynx featured extremely powerful hardware for 1989, part of that being the MIKEY soundchip. MIKEY was an evolution of the popular POKEY chip that Atari used in their 400/800 computers, 5200 & XE game consoles and various arcade machines. But, it was a little strange to work on so it wasn't always utilized in many games. Here, chipist Tobikomi shows off what MIKEY could do and it slaps. "Hospital - (Red Pyramid Encounter; Tuberculosis)" [Arcade, Konami, 2007]
Perhaps the most obscure entry in the Silent Hill series is the arcade game, which saw a limited worldwide release back in 2007. More units were sold in Europe than the US. Still, the music behind this one is great for anyone looking to do a haunted house or the like.

Continuing the Halloween-themed game music are some tracks from Taito's excellent light-gun shooter from 1990, Space Gun. This was Taito's interpretation of Aliens but it had it's own charm to it. These tracks were created by members of Taito's in-house band ZUNTATA and are the arcade versions, not the home PC ports

THIS VERSION IS THE REMIXED AMR2 FAN GAME VERSION but it otherwise hits all the beats of the original. Metroid II did a masterful job of creating tension through clever game design and the score. This is the song that plays in the last area before the final boss, the Queen Metroid.
