This is the last uncultivated area in our garden. This summer I decided to create a garden here. I hope to be able to show you the results soon. Nature is not conducive to work. Last week I accidentally pulled out small flowers that my wife had planted. I confused these flowers with wild grass. This happens in rural life :)) To make my wife’s gardening safer, I decided to make a flower bed. I laid out a flowerbed three bricks high. Now we need to bring the earth. 5 buckets of soil are enough. This is the second flowerbed of this design in our garden. Today we have meat pies. We ate and went to garden. We eat a lot of pies, muffins and cakes. This is traditional for rural life in our area. I started repairing the steps I showed you this winter. If you live a rural life, then repairs may not be quick, but repairs should be economical. I found used bricks and collected some rubble on the ground. Then I filled up the hole in the steps. All the empty space under the steps is now filled with bricks and rubble. We can walk on the steps safely. To complete the repair of the steps I need to cement the steps. Then the repair will be completed. This is country life as it is :) Nature has destroyed concrete and iron over the years. I need to maintain the house all the time, and not just do gardening. Drink tea and cakes in your own garden. It's a wonderful part of rural life. Yes, gardening is a lot of work. There is little free time. We have been baking our own bread for 6 years. This is the basis of our rural life. Home baking can save money, as can gardening. Make it yourself, don't buy it.
