Woodturning

This is the start of me turning the cedar mushroom. I really liked how the tools glided through the wood on this one.

I turned a cedar mushroom while keeping the saw marks at the top to keep a more abstract look to it.

I've been getting better with the bowl gouge. Still get catches of course but definitely getting better. I enjoyed this part especially since I placed camera in a better spot to see all the curves and shapes. Also have a new camera so quality of videos is so much clearer. I hope you enjoy.

This is the beginning of my first set of Christmas trees I made for a friend. I really like smoothing out the ash into a cylinder its very peaceful looking a mesmerizing. At the end of the video you'll see me starting to line up the base and spaces for the tree branches.

Here I am eating my favorite snack. AVOCADO 🥑. I love to eat these very quickly they're so yummy.

Here I am making the tendon on a bowl so the wood chuck can grip the bowl while I hollow it out.

Here I am hollowing out Eastern Cedar. It is very relaxing watching the rings get removed from the wood and seeing the depth of the bowl get deeper and deeper. Watching and listening as the wood shavings fall.
