This video describes the process wherein gravitational forces between the Earth, Moon, and Sun cause the Earth's crust to flex. These “Earth Tide” events (every 12-24 hours) lead to movement of the crust by 1-2 feet. The daily movement causes frictional heating in the crust- primarily along fault lines. This heat causes subterranean waters to vaporize (water expands by 1,700X when vaporizing- creating higher pressure). The vapor moves to lower pressure zones outside Earth's crust and into the atmosphere where it displaces the existent atmosphere (this is the source of wind). The warmer air currents rise and condense in the cooler altitudes into cumulous clouds and subsequently further condense into rain (forming more wind from the 1,700X reduction in volume- creating a vacuum). The rain falls to Earth's surface, and seeps into the ground- where the process repeats itself.
Geysers: Geysers form when Earth Tide heat boils subterranean waters- forcing these hot waters and gasses (vaporized waters) forcefully out of the crust at Earth’s surface.
Wind: Wind is the result of displaced air when Earth Tide heat forces subterranean water to vaporize and exit Earth’s crust at the surface. This creates high-pressure zones (where the vapor escapes)- causing existing air to move to lower pressure areas. The movement of this air- is the wind.
Lightning: Lightning is an electrical discharge originating from quartz rocks in Earth’s crust. When quartz rocks are mechanically strained- they emit varying amounts of electricity. Anyone can rub two quartz rocks together and generate visible electric flashes. Earth tide flexes the crust causing strain and friction on crustal rocks containing quartz- thus creating electricity. The electricity is disbursed into the atmosphere.
Northern & Southern Lights: Northern and Southern Lights (aurora borealis): Like lightning, aurora borealis is an electrical discharge originating from quartz rocks in Earth’s crust. When quartz rocks are mechanically strained- they emit varying amounts of electricity. Earth tide flexes the crust causing strain and friction on crustal rocks containing quartz- thus creating electricity. The electricity is disbursed into the atmosphere- where it interacts with the Sun's energy field and (near the north and south poles) lights up the sky (seasonally) in extremely interesting colors and shapes of varying intensity.

From Volume I of Universal Model, A New Millennial Science, on page 57 we find the following difference between Science and Technology:
"Scientific leaders recognize the difficulty in getting the public excited over natural science but they also understand the importance of gaining their support. Popularity drives the funding for new research, a multi-billion dollar proposition in America today. How do you convince the public to fund unpopular theoretical research? Over the past several decades, there has been a growing trend to group science and technology into the generic category of ‘science.’ This largely successful effort has effectively blurred the line between them and few people recognize their important differences. One difference remains significant—science has not enjoyed the success that technology has.
We recognize one example in the bestselling American science magazine, Scientific American. During the last two decades, it has become increasingly difficult for science journals and magazines to fill their pages with purely scientific discoveries and stories to maintain readership. On the other hand, technological journals and magazines have grown exponentially, graced with abundant technological discoveries and stories. Scientific American recognized this, and several years ago, the magazine announced to its readers it was changing its format to include new sections dedicated to technology.
"In one instance, they presented twenty World Changing Ideas in the December 2009 issue, to “build a cleaner, healthier, smarter world” (page 50). Of the twenty ideas, only three were science-based. The remaining seventeen were technology-based. This ratio of 3/20 science-based ideas is probably typical of the science-verses-technology circumstance that exists today. There are many more successful technological inventions than there are new scientific discoveries. Most new scientific discoveries (such as those in astronomy and biology) are often a direct result of technological advances in telescopes, DNA testing, and other equipment and procedures. Often times, these new techno-related discoveries contradict existing theories, a topic we approach in later chapters. In another text, the “power of science” is mingled with “technologies”:
“The power of science cannot be denied: it has given us computers and jets, vaccines and thermonuclear bombs, technologies that, for better or worse, have altered the course of history.” End of Science, John Horgan, P.4, 1996
