Perhaps if we were reminded of the full extent of human suffering caused by the Nazis, we would ignore the glib rhetoric of those who wish to play politics in our age, AND, we would be able to truly recognize if Naziism were ever to raise its ugly head again.

It is improbable that we will get a population of eight billion (+) with varying and competing types of government, economy, culture, religion and education to agree to the same environmental actions to achieve the same climate goals.

Collectively, mankind is acquiring, developing, and accumulating knowledge at a tremendous rate in our time: are you and I keeping up with the speed at which knowledge is produced? The “knowledge doubling curve” offered by Buckminster Fuller in his 1982 book, Critical Path, and expanded upon by IBM 2020, reckoned that the sum total of knowledge on earth would be doubled every twelve hours.

The biblical account of Babel is a metaphor for the great difficulty communicating with each other with so many languages and dialects that have developed over the centuries and millennia. More it is a story that includes our modern times when even those who speak the same language cannot seem to properly communicate with each other these days.

What is a “Black Swan”: an event that comes as a complete surprise to people, has a major effect on civilization and is then rationalized by intellectuals, religionists, scientists and other “experts” who create a narrative to deal with the event and prevention of such future events.

Leaders and governments and organizations are implementing big ideas of how the world should be structured or restructured, and we seem to be mere spectators as they swiftly move forward with their plans.
