The Specialized Diverge now features a rear future shock to match the one in the front. Similar in concept to the Trek Domine which uses the flex of the frame to soften your ride. The Future Shock also uses the flex of the frame but adds a more elaborate (and more expensive) damper. Here are our initial thoughts.

This is a lap on what will most likely be race 1 of winter short track on Dec,4 2021. There will be a little more field work, and the course will be raked and marked. Also I will probably do something about that creek crossing so it is ridable by more riders, but it is at least ridable by the more advanced riders. Younger riders may find that running up that climb following is actually faster than riding.

After a bike repair we always do a test ride. One of the things we do is a couple of hard accelerations just to make sure everything is is good working order. This bike fails that test.

Briar Hill Park in Crestwood Ky features a lot of tight technical trail. Not a lot of big jumps or drops, but lots of rocks, roots and trees. The Mountain bike trails are basically divided into an upper and lower loop. This little section is the down line that connects the upper to the lower loop. It boasts a coupe of small rocky drops, tight single track and a fun little shoot out to the road.

This is a quick overview of the 2009 Giant Suede Bicycle that uses Shimano's automatic shifting. This shifting system was only used for a short period of time and for some reason never took off, but it makes for a really cool and interesting bike.
