Ockham's Razor Podcast: Columbine | E01 | "Two Dylans"
On the first episode of the Ockham's Razor Podcast: Columbine, we speak with Randy Brown. Mr. Brown is the father of Brooks Brown, a longtime friend of Dylan Klebold, one of the two perpetrators of the 1999 Columbine High School Massacre. Additionally, Brooks Brown was an on and off friend of Eric Harris, the other perpetrator.
Mr. Brown, along with his wife, Judy Brown, knew Dylan Klebold for the majority of his life, starting at early childhood. The Brown family was the only family who reported Eric Harris to the police, 14 times to be exact, prior to the tragedy at Columbine High School; Harris had made several death threats against the Brown family, and detailed extensively his pipe bomb building on his website.
Following the tragedy, the Browns became closely involved with a number of victims' families in pushing for the truth as to what really happened at Columbine and why. In doing so, the Browns reviewed highly classified pieces of evidence such as the infamous Basement Tapes, the crime scene photos and the full version of the 911 library tape.
