People this is REAL. Remember 8 months ago he said everything is not TRUE. For decades many shut their eyes, said nothing or just played it out.
How many people were hurt by him?

O.J. Simpson, Athlete Whose Trial Riveted the Nation, Dies at 76
According to the New York Times
He ran to football fame on the field and made fortunes in movies. Then a trial in which he was charged with killing his former wife and her friend changed everything.
, made fortunes as a Black all-American in movies, advertising and television, and was acquitted of killing his former wife and her friend in a 1995 trial in Los Angeles that mesmerized the nation, died on Wednesday at his home in Las Vegas. He was 76.
The cause was cancer, his family announced on social media.
The jury in the murder trial cleared him, but the case, which had held up a cracked mirror to Black and white America, ruined his world. In 1997, a civil suit by the victims’ families found him liable for the deaths of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald L. Goldman, and ordered him to pay $33.5 million in damages. He paid little of the debt, moved to Florida and struggled to remake his life, raise his children and stay out of trouble.

Chicago citizens are upset with Mayor Brandon Johnson..
CHICAGO CITY COUNCIL LEADERS CALL ON MAYOR TO INCREASE TRANSPARENCY AROUND MIGRANTS IN SHELTERS
CHICAGO (WLS) -- There is a push for more transparency around migrants in Chicago shelters.
Some city leaders are calling for Mayor Brandon Johnson and his administration to give more details on migrants who are currently in shelters and when they leave or are evicted.
At last check, 65 people are currently awaiting placement at the landing zone.
There are more than 10,000 migrants in 23 shelters run by both the city and state.
And 24 people have been evicted due to the city's 60-day shelter policy.
While buses carrying new arrivals have slowed down in the past few months, the Johnson administration's 60-day shelter eviction policy remains in place.
And the exact number of migrants who must leave a temporary shelter this week is a bit unclear.
More transparency and accountability from the mayor's office regarding the migrant crisis is something City Council members have been demanding for months.
Some have complained the media gets shelter exit data before aldermen do.
"As the press is getting it daily, the Council and most the members are not. We want to make sure it's in-line with reporting already out there," said Ald. Andre Vasquez, chairman of the Committee on Immigration and Refugee Rights.
Vasquez' committee passed an ordinance Thursday that will track the specifics on shelter exits and evictions so the public will know if a migrant ends up back in a shelter or on the streets homeless.

Jennifer Lopez bodega nenu is 100% correct during her generation ! Mines differ because of generation difference !
But wait why is the younger generation dissing Jennifer Lopez bodega order of Ham &. Cheese sandwich and orange drink😳😳😳around 1976 she is correct.
Most of us had Spice Ham & Cheese, a bag of chips, soda I’d drink for 50 -75 cents around late 60’s. Bodegas then Sudbury serve hot foods.
We didn’t the selection at the real bodegas back then as they did in the 90’s -2000’s who were born in the 80’s. Everything changed.
Price is different and they now have more to choose from.
Today they bacon. Eggs and cheese for an example, that wasn’t around during our era growing up at bodegas
The younger generation need to learn from those who weee there to experience the growth from us being kids to what it is NOW!

Dolton special board meeting held, concerns over recent sexual misconduct allegations
DOLTON, Ill. – Dozens of community members came out Thursday night for a special Board of Trustees meeting in Dolton, days after a regular board meeting was set to be held but was canceled by the mayor.
“We’re trying to create normalcy, even through the challenging times. That is the purpose and call for this meeting,” Senior Trustee Jason House said.
The special board meeting was held again in a Dolton Park District facility. Trustees and sworn clerks said they still have not been granted access keys to Village Hall, despite a resolution passed last month to change that.
Trustees in attendance Thursday did not vote on any items aside from approving meeting minutes. They did, however, discuss several agenda items, including the reportedly dire financial state of the village, and allegations of sexual misconduct involving a trustee, recently reported on by WGN Investigates.
Neither Mayor Tiffany Henyard nor two of her close allies on the board were present at the meeting. Last month, the three were also absent as a resolution calling for an investigation into Henyard and her spending of village funds, was approved.
According to a pair of complaints filed with the Illinois Department of Human Rights, a Dolton trustee is accused of sexual misconduct with a village employee while on a taxpayer-funded trip to Las Vegas.
The trustee vehemently denied the allegations when he spoke with WGN Investigates.
“The reason that this was put on here is there were terrible allegations that many people are aware of for the Village of Dolton,” said House. “As a board member we also recognize this comes with a lot of potential liability or cost to the residents of Dolton.”

The crooks of Dolton. ILL. MayorTiffany Henyard, Andrew Holmes Keith Freeman 😳
DOLTON, Ill. — A trustee of a south suburb is accused of sexual misconduct with a village employee while on a taxpayer-funded trip to Las Vegas, according to a pair of complaints filed with the Illinois Department of Human Rights.
The trustee vehemently denies the allegations.
The employee worked for Dolton Mayor Tiffany Henyard who was also on the trip along with her security detail and other village officials.
The complaint filed by the woman, who WGN is not naming because she said she was a victim of a crime, said she began to feel “extremely light-headed” and “disoriented” after a dinner with village officials.
“She blacked out and did not recall anything else,” the complaint states. She said she woke-up the next morning feeling physical discomfort. “She found she was inside the trustee’s hotel room fully dressed.”
Both complaints were filed with the Illinois Department of Human Rights by the same attorney on the same day. They claim Henyard initially appeared “shocked” when told of the sexual assault allegations in a meeting with the employee and member of her security detail soon after their return from Las Vegas.

Claudia Jordan talk about Deal or No Deal & College Hill Celebrity Edition
Claudia Jordan flipped the script when she showed up on NBC’s Deal or No Deal Island. A former briefcase model on the first four seasons of Deal or No Deal, Jordan returned to the franchise, but this time as a contestant. Unfortunately, her knowledge of the game did not help her escape her first encounter with the Banker.
Claudia took a massive risk when she stopped Stephanie Mitchell from using her Steal to swap briefcases with Boston Rob Mariano, who had the highest value case. Instead, Claudia told Stephanie to take hers. That meant Claudia put herself in danger of facing of the Banker, and Boston Rob indeed sent her into that battle.
Eventually, Claudia took a statistically sound deal with three cases left, even though her gut was telling her it was the wrong move. She should have listened. Claudia indeed had the $500,000 case, far more than the offer — meaning she had accepted a “bad deal” and was thereby eliminated.

Trill Burger Voted best burger in America! Salute to BunB
Co-founded by Houston rap legend Bun B (Bernard Freeman), restaurateur Andy Nguyen and Nick Scurfield, Trill Burgers was established in Houston in the summer of 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic. Starting with pop-ups at local culinary events, we quickly gained notoriety for our mouthwatering smashburgers made with two all-beef smashed patties, caramelized onions, pickles and our patented Trill Sauce on a potato roll bun. Trill Burgers earned the title of best burger in America from "Good Morning America" in 2022 and has been a certified hit at music festivals across the United States including Coachella, Rolling Loud, Something in the Water and Rock the Bells.
Trill Burgers also won a coveted Gold Buckle Foodie Award for Best Classic Fair Food at the 2023 Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo. Led by our chef partners Mike Pham and Fernando Valladares, we served more than 41,000 burgers in 20 days at the 2023 Rodeo -- a testament to the support from our hometown. We have been proud to support local charities including Chris Shepherd’s Southern Smoke Foundation and Second Servings of Houston, among others.
In 2022, we hosted a pop-up at City Hall in conjunction with the City of Houston, serving 2,000-plus customers in one day. Falling on National Cheeseburger Day, the day was proclaimed "Trill Burgers Day" by Mayor Sylvester Turner. We were thrilled to open the doors to our first brick-and-mortar location in Houston on June 7, 2023, in the Montrose neighborhood of Houston. Formerly home to a historic James Coney Island location, the space will feature a drive-thru to help us serve as many customers as possible. Keep it Trill!

KEY POINTS
The House approved the legislation, dubbed the Protecting Americans from Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act, that calls for China tech giant ByteDance to divest TikTok or the popular social video app will effectively be banned in the U.S.
The bill now heads to the Senate where it faces an uncertain future as senators appear divided about the legislation.
The House approved a bill Wednesday that calls for China tech giant ByteDance to divest TikTok or the popular social video app will effectively be banned in the U.S.
The measure passed with a resounding 352-65 vote and with one member voting present.
Lawmakers from both parties have claimed that TikTok poses a national security risk because of the app’s alleged ties to the Chinese Communist Party, which TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew has denied during Senate hearings. On the other hand, tech policy and civil liberties organizations such as the American Civil Liberties Union and the Knight Institute have opposed the bill over concerns that it would violate First Amendment right

Feds: Homeownership program director for nonprofit stole 30 properties…
The director of homeownership programs for a Detroit nonprofit was arrested Wednesday, accused of conspiring with others to steal more than 30 properties across Wayne County, most of them in Detroit, in a scheme targeting low-income people facing potential tax foreclosure, federal prosecutors announced.
Zina Thomas, 60, of Detroit, was charged in a criminal complaint unsealed Wednesday in U.S. District Court. According to the complaint, Thomas lives in one of the properties involved in the scheme.
A news release from U.S. Attorney Dawn Ison's Office said leaders of the nonprofit United Community Housing Coalition, which provides housing assistance to Detroit's low-income residents, cooperated with the investigation.
"While it's deeply troubling that these individuals are alleged to have misused our company emails and computers, the charges confirm that the integrity of UCHC's programs are not being called into question," the nonprofit's executive director, Ted Phillips, said in a statement emailed to the Free Press.

Is TikTok getting shut down? Congress flooded with angry calls …
Will TikTok be banned?
A key House committee voted unanimously Thursday to advance bipartisan legislation that would force China’s ByteDance to sell off TikTok or face a ban in the United States.
Before the 50-0 vote in the House Energy and Commerce Committee, lawmakers received a classified briefing on national security concerns raised by TikTok's Chinese ownership.
The legislation is widely seen as the most potent threat yet to the wildly popular app that is used by 170 million Americans.
House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., said Thursday that he supported the bill. House Majority Leader Steve Scalise, R-La., said he would send the bill to the House floor. If the full House approves the legislation, it will go to the Senate.
Why is the government trying to ban TikTok?
The White House also has thrown its support behind the bill, which was introduced by a bipartisan group of lawmakers on Tuesday. That further raises the political heat on TikTok.
"This bill is important. We welcome this step," White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters.

Trump’s controversial remarks raise questions about Black voter push
Former President Trump’s controversial remarks that Black voters will back him because of his legal woes are raising new questions about whether the GOP’s likely standard-bearer will help or hurt his party with the demographic.
Trump is making a concerted effort to win over Black men in what is expected to be a razor-tight contest with President Biden. His appearance at the Sneaker Con event in Philadelphia and his flirtation with Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.) as a vice presidential candidate are both examples of his campaign’s strategy.
Diante Johnson, president of the Black Conservative Federation (BCF), said Trump’s election and reelection campaign indicates a change happening within the GOP.
“The Democratic Party has never had to fight for the Black vote. They’ve never had to worry about Republicans going back to the Black vote. Now it’s happening and they don’t know what to do,” Johnson said. “The Republican Party is changing. This is not the same Republican Party as our grandparents. This is a Republican Party that is inclusive. This is a Republican Party that is a big tent.”
Johnson pointed to successes Black Americans saw under Trump’s administration, including 10 years of funding for Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and an increase in homeownership from 41 percent to 46 percent.

Attorney general orders Dolton Mayor Tiffany Henyard to release spending records..
DOLTON, Ill. — Last November, WGN Investigates first reported how a south suburban politician and her allies spent taxpayer money on first class airline tickets, luxury hotels and high-end restaurants.
Tiffany Henyard is the mayor of Dolton and supervisor of Thornton Township. The elected positions pay her more than $280,000 annually, according to interviews and records.
After the story aired, WGN Investigates sent a public records request to Dolton asking for, among other things, copies of additional credit card statements to check if the spending spree continued.
The village did not turn over the records, as required under state law. The records request, sent via email on Nov. 29, also asked for copies of documents showing any payments to Henyard.
WGN Investigates filed an appeal with the Illinois Attorney General.
That agency turned over the records. The statements showed Henyard and other officials spent nearly $67,000 in township funds on trips to Portland, Austin, Atlanta and New York City in recent months.

Many of us born before 1960 have experienced a lot in life. A look back to our ancestors is IMPORTANT!
For most people descended from enslaved Black Americans, the process of finding their roots goes something like this; they crack open Census records to track back from a grandfather or grandmother to a great-grandmother, then a great-great-grandmother and maybe one or two more greats before they get back to the family member who was enslaved.
These are our ancestors’: Descendants of enslaved people are shifting plantation tourism
At three plantations in Charleston, S.C., Black descendants are connecting with their family’s history and helping reshape the narrative

1960 Black were called Migrants, Harvest Of Shame Documentary
Harvest of Shame was a 1960 television documentary presented by broadcast journalist Edward R. Murrow on CBS that showed the plight of American migrant agricultural workers. It was Murrow's final documentary for the network; he left CBS at the end of January 1961, at John F. Kennedy's request, to become head of the United States Information Agency. An investigative report intended "to shock Americans into action," it was "the first time millions of Americans were given a close look at what it means to live in poverty" by their televisions.
The program was an installment of the television documentary series CBS Reports, widely seen as the successor to Murrow's highly regarded 1951–1958 CBS program See It Now. Murrow's close associate, Fred W. Friendly, who coproduced See It Now, was the executive producer of CBS Reports. Their colleague, Edward P. Morgan, had taken up the issue of migrant labor in his CBS Radio Network commentaries. Morgan's assistant had visited Senator Harry F. Byrd's Northern Virginia farm during the apple harvest and was outraged by the conditions of the migrant laborers working there. According to Murrow biographer Joseph Persico, Friendly decided that the issue was a natural for Murrow, long seen as a champion of the oppressed.
While Murrow and Friendly are often seen as the forces behind the show, broadcast historians such as the late Edward Bliss, Jr. have also given credit to "Harvest of Shame" producer/reporter David Lowe. Lowe did much of the legwork, including a number of the interviews featured in the installment.
The program originally aired just after Thanksgiving Day in November 1960. The December 5, 1960 edition of Time quoted producer Lowe as saying,

DOLTON MAYOR TIFFANY HENYARD VETOES INVESTIGATION INTO HERSELF AMID CORRUPTION ACCUSATIONS
DOLTON, Ill. (WLS) — A tense meeting got underway in Dolton on Monday night as residents voiced their frustrations with the mayor and recent allegations against her.
“We don’t need anything else, saying what you’re claiming to do for the village. We need accountability. We need information on the finances,” one speaker said.
Mayor Tiffany Henyard is accused of using village money for personal reasons as Dolton’s unpaid bills have piled up. Henyard has denied the allegations.
During the meeting, Henyard vetoed a resolution passed by the village board to investigate her spending.
But on Monday night, it was residents’ turn to call out the mayor.
“I’m asking that you either step down or the trustees that voted you in to vote you out,” another speaker said.
After those public comments, Henyard responded, calling the accusations “false.”
“It’s facts over fiction for me. I will state facts. I will show receipts, and I will make sure our community is back together as one,” Henyard said. “It amazes me how people can get together and come to a board meeting and just have hate in their heart and not love on each other.”
Henyard said she wants future board meetings to focus on other issues.

Hip Hop Eddie Cheba dies at age 67! His last performance video from 2023
According to close friend Van Silk, he passed away from a cardiac arrest at 7:16 a.m. ET on Tuesday (February 13).
Hip-Hop pioneer Eddie Cheba has died AllHipHop can confirm. According to close friend Van Silk, he passed away from a cardiac arrest at 7:16 a.m. ET on Tuesday (February 13). Cheeba’s sister, Sarah Shawn, confirmed the news on social media. Cheeba had been sick for at least six months and suffered not one but three strokes. The trailblazing DJ was considered one of the biggest club DJs in New York City throughout the 1970s and could easily pack the house on any given day.
“I met Eddie back in 1975, the same time I met DJ Hollywood and Reggie Wells,” Van Silk tells AllHipHop. “Reggie Wells and Eddie Cheba grew up in Douglas Houses in Manhattan. My experience with Eddie Cheba is very sentimental. He played for many of my parties and we did Broadway International together. Eddie definitely cannot be left out of the culture of Hip-Hop. Trust me. Sad to say Eddie Cheba’s last performance and interview was last August 11 at the Rapamania 50 event. Eddie was booked to perform, but I told him to get on the mic. We have along personal history and been in touch with him over the last six years. He will definitely be missed.”
