There is no better way to explore a new city in a new country than through food and this is why we are taking you around the streets of Yaoundé, Cameroon to eat everything we can find and stop at some of the most popular attractions in town. The street food is truly ingrained in the Cameroonians culture. From grilled fish, to akra beans and of course soya of 50/50 you can find a very wide variety of food from vendors all around the city. Our personal highlight was our visit at the Briqueterie of Yaoundé. This is a true street meat paradise. The ambiance, and the delicious skewers for only 50 franc each really made our day from the start. Other than the food, it was fascinating to drive around Yaoundé and explore the city and there is no better way to see the big picture than from the top of Mont-Fébé. Also make sure to stop at the Reunification Monument to appreciate it's unique architecture. To end the day, we suggest a stop at the Panoramique Lounge locate on the 11th floor of the Hilton Hotel Yaounde. Not for the food but really for the bats. For our last night of overlanding, we decided to stay inside the Etosha National Park at the Etosha Trading Post. Very nice campsite, with everything you need and they even have a general store, restaurant, gas station and a pool which was very needed with the warm weather! On the way back from Etosha to Windhoek, we highly suggest a quick stop at Etosha Corner for breakfast of lunch. Super nice place with good food and all your essentials. After returning our two overlanders, we headed to The Windhoek Luxury Suites, a super nice hotel in Namibia's capital. Time for us to leave Swakopmund which was a really good time and head up the Skeleton Coast to spend the night a Mile 108 Campsite. This camp, located right by the ocean was definitely more "rustic" but still had everything we needed and the location was a solid 10/10. The ocean, the sunset and the hyenas over night... Upon arrival we took some time, we took some time to visit a little coffee shop and walked around town before settling on The Tug restaurant for dinner. I great choice if I may say. After dinner, it was time to head to our campsite for the night called Windpomp 14 where we all slept in our rooftop tents by the ocean. I was a beautiful place to wake up to at sunrise. Finally, to get a little rush of adrenaline before hitting the road once, again, we made a quick stop at Desert Explorers for some sand dune bashing on ATVs.
