The Jeff and Bill Show April 29, 2024
Hour 1: Bill isn't in because he's sick, so Jeff hits it solo today. No Trump trial today either...is that because it's not going as gangbusters for the prosecution as they thought it would? Jeff also tackles the White House Correspondent's Dinner.
Hour 2: Jeff talks about the media fawning over Joe Biden and the increasing irrelevance of late night hosts. Is comedy dead in today's age?
Hour 3: Governor of South Dakota and potential Trump VP pick wrote in her upcoming book that she once had a dog with an “aggressive personality” and needed to be trained to be used for hunting pheasant. She eventually put down the dog with her gun. The media and social media have condemned her for that action. She responded by insisting that she had the legal right and obligation to gun down her own dog and “was being a responsible parent, dog owner, and neighbor”
What do you think? Clear case of animal cruelty or something that had to be done. Will this affect her chances of becoming Donald's VP pick?
Hour 4: Jeff continues with the story of the media reporting on content from Kristi Noem's second autobiography No Going Back, scheduled to be published in May 2024, in which Noem discussed personally using a gun to kill a dog and a goat that her family owned on the same day.
Is it fair to say that anyone who criticizes Kristi on this would be hypocritical if they themselves also supported abortion?
