Where Are You On The Health – Disease Continuum? - Thomas J. Lewis, PhD (Nov 2020)
Dec 13, 2020
“Where Are You On The Health – Disease Continuum?” is the presentation shared by Thomas Lewis, PhD
Medical diagnoses are actually artificial human-made terms. In reality, we all lie on health-disease continuums. When you cross a certain point on the continuum, you then suddenly have a disease.
In this presentation, we discuss the consequences of this model within the context of the current healthy / sick model. We will discuss how to measure where you are on the: 1. “risk” continuum, 2. physiological continuum, 3. pathology continuum and 4. Chronic disease continuum and how the measurements provide information on how to improve your placement on ALL the continuums. We will also present case studies that show how a broad range of diagnoses improve or disappear when following the recommendations derived from this continuum model.

Animals, including humans, develop nutritional and medicinal memories in utero and early in life. This takes place at a cellular level as evidenced by Claire Sylvia and her book A Change of Heart. When she received a heart and lung transplant, she also received the taste preferences of the donor. Young children select foods containing nutrients that the individual needs.

Surviving Prostate Cancer without Surgery, Drugs or Radiation - Peter Starr (March 2021)
Mar 27, 2021
.“Surviving Prostate Cancer without Surgery, Drugs or Radiation” is the presentation shared by Peter Starr at the March 10th, 2021 2021 Zoom meeting of the Silicon Valley Health Institute.
.Despite earlier diagnosis and a substantial increase in the rate of diagnosis during the past 60 years, the death rate, in spite of some statistical ups and downs, remains about the same as it was in the 1930s. Current conventional treatment has done nothing to increase survival rates and statistics, five year and ten year numbers, do not show an increase in overall long term survival. The New England Journal of Medicine published a large study of the screening procedure int he United States. The results show that over a period of 7 to 10 years, PSA screening did not reduce the death rate in men 55 and over. So what are men to do? Some listed to Peter Starr who has negotiated and thoroughly researched this topic and made a documentary of the same title.
About Peter Starr
As the history of television, radio, Rock and Roll, racing, the history of; television , radio, Rock and Roll, racing, automobiles and motorcycles, marched through the sixties and seventies to present day, Peter Starr has been in lock step with and responsible for some of the most important developments in them all. From racing motorcycles and working for the legendary Triumph marquee, as a host and producer of innovator of radio programs (featuring the likes of Paul McCartney, Pete Townsend, Eric Clapton and Jimmy Page to name a few founders of modern Rock and Roll); to his recent award winning films, television commercials and ground breaking specialized camera equipment. Mold, Mycotoxins And Your Brain - Andrew Campbell, MD (March 2021)
Mar 27, 2021
“Mold, Mycotoxins And Your Brain” is the presentation shared by Andrew Campbell, MD at the March 16th, 2021 Zoom meeting of the Silicon Valley Health Institute.
You are what your brain is. Your brain makes you how you are: your personality, your character, your ability to be happy and enjoy life, your emotions, your ability to learn, your daily actions and reactions, how and what you pay attention to, all of these and much more derives from your brain. Your brain’s health is vital to your wellbeing.
Our brain is a unique and extremely complex organ, and the only one completely surrounded and protected by bone: the skull. It weighs about 3 pounds, about 2% of our body weight, yet uses 20% of our calories and of our oxygen, and 30% of our glucose. The brain receives the freshest and most oxygenated blood as it is pumped out from the heart. The brain has the texture of tofu and is made up of approximately 100 billion neurons and we have 400 miles of blood vessels to bring oxygen and nutrients to all those neurons. Each neuron has approximately 1000 synapses. According to the World Health Organization, diseases caused by mycotoxins are many and mycotoxins are known as the “Great Masquerader” of the 21st century due to their ability to present in patients a number of nonspecific clinical signs and symptoms and not routinely suspected by the medical establishment.1 Many patients get misdiagnosed with Lyme disease, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, or eventually psychiatric disorders such as adjustment disorder, depression, and others.
Mold and mycotoxins have been implicated in contributing to various diseases including Autism, Alzheimer, Amyotropic Lateral Sclerosis (Lou Gherig’s disease), and Multiple Sclerosis: Dr. Campbell will give an evidence based presentation with case reports.
