YouTube Bans Andrew Tate But He’s Still on Twitch
A channel associated with Andrew Tate was removed from YouTube
TateSpeech remains available on Amazon’s Twitch service
A YouTube channel associated with Andrew Tate, an online influencer and self-described misogynist, was disabled Monday, as Google’s video website joins a growing list of social media platforms taking action against the personality in the last week.
The list of apps that previously banned Tate, a British-American former kickboxing champion who has been heavily criticized for his sexist commentary, includes Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Twitter over violations of policies including those around hate speech or ideology. Notably, an account associated with Tate remains on one major social media platform: Amazon.com Inc.’s video livestreaming site Twitch.
Tate brands himself as a “success coach” for an online program called Hustler’s University. He has said publicly that female sexual assault victims “bear some responsibility” and suggested that men date women who are 18 to “imprint” on them. He has also described himself as “absolutely a misogynist.”
YouTube said on Monday that it terminated channels associated with Tate over “multiple violations” of its community guidelines and its terms of service, including its hate speech policy. “If a channel is terminated, the uploader is unable to use, own or create any other YouTube channels,” said Ivy Choi, a YouTube spokesperson. The company said it first took action against one of Tate’s channels in July because it had posted a video violating YouTube’s Covid-19 medical misinformation policies.
A spokesperson for Tate said, “There is a running contradiction in today’s society where men are encouraged to speak and be open/honest with how they feel but are generally met with a negative response to their truth.” The spokesperson added, “Banning Andrew Tate from these platforms might seem the answer, but it isn’t that simple. Removing Tate’s voice doesn’t allow for a kinder hate-free society.”
Tate’s inflammatory comments have attracted a large audience of both detractors and fans. Tate went viral on TikTok, where videos tagged #AndrewTate have been viewed 13.8 billion times. On Google, searches for the influencer’s name have soared since April. On YouTube, the newly banned account had 768,000 subscribers in August. There is at least one other YouTube account associated with Tate that still appears to be live.
The channel on Twitch only has 50,000 followers, but he has appeared on channels with as many as 6.4 million followers. Last week, over 100,000 concurrent viewers watched Tate live with top Twitch personality Adin Ross, who streams video games and online crypto gambling. If Twitch did ban Tate, he would be unable to appear on other people’s channels.
“Every single time I do one of these Twitches, we get three, four, five, six thousand new students. Everything is going fantastic for us,” Tate said on Twitch in July. Bloomberg News was unable to confirm Tate’s claim.
Twitch didn’t immediately have a comment on Tate’s use of the site. Adin Ross didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
Hope Not Hate, a group based in Britain that organizes against far-right extremism, launched a petition in August calling for Tate to be banned from the major social networks. “The effect that Tate’s brand of vitriolic misogyny can have on the young male audience is deeply concerning,” the group said in its petition. “We also know that misogyny can be a gateway to other extreme and discriminatory views.”

A Kansas City Pastor is currently going viral for going off on his congregation for not honoring him with a new watch that he has been asking for. The pastor's sermon for the day was on the topic of taking care of God's shepherd. While speaking from the pulpit, the pastor is heard telling members, “see that's how I know you're still poor, broke, busted, and disgusted because of how you've been honoring me.” "I'm not worth your McDonald’s money? I'm not worth your Red Lobster money? I'm not worth your... Y'all can't afford it no how. I ain't worth your Louis Vuitton? I ain't worth your Prada? I'm not worth your Gucci?"

Brittney Griner Sentenced To 9 Years In Russian Prison For Drug Smuggling With Criminal Intent
Brittney Griner’s 9-year prison sentence for flying in Russia with a cannabis cartridge is drawing lots of disbelief and outrage within hip hop, but perhaps no one's reacting as aggressively as Boosie Badazz.
The Louisiana rapper couldn’t contain his anger as he unloaded on America, in general -- but especially on Vice President Kamala Harris ... for not doing more, in his eyes, to help a fellow Black woman.
Boosie screamed the Vice President should be on the "front lines" assisting the WNBA star, and claimed Kamala Harris' silence sets a bad example for women of color.
Boosie also speculated if it were Taylor Swift in Brittney’s situation, the U.S. government would have launched a massive strategy to secure the pop star’s freedom.
Similar comparisons have been made regarding Brittney Griner ’s international trial, with LeBron James being the most famous example.

Doja Cat Cries For Help? 😱 Says She is Not Crazy After Shaving Hair & Eyebrows OFF (FULL VIDEO)
Recently #DojaCat shared with her supporters her new look after shaving her head and eyebrows. Many people questioned if Doja was doing okay after her decision, to which she assured them that she was. On Saturday, Doja took the time to double down on her previous statements after people began to question her mental state after debuting her new shaved look.
While taking to Instagram Live, Doja Cat went into depth about her decision, while addressing those who have assumed she may have been on drugs and advised that she seeks help.
She is known for her unique style, explained the reason behind the drastic change, as shown in videos of the moment shared on social media.
"You guys have seen me wear my natural hair out. I had, like, two eras where my hair would be out. I would straighten it ...There was a moment where it was natural, and I don't even wear it natural 'cause I don't feel like it and it's just a f---ing nightmare, dude. I'm over it," Doja said.
"I'm really liking this," the singer said of the cut, stating that she was so used to wearing wigs anyway that she saw "no point" in having hair.
"What is use of having hair if you're not going to f---ing wearing it out? I don't even sport it, so I'm shaving it off. There's no point. I've never felt so f---ing happy, like ... it's very funny how much of an effect taking my hair off my head has positively influenced me,"
"I can swim, which is a big deal for me because I love to surf. I can swim, I can work out, I can do like real strenuous workouts and sweat my ass off," Doja said.
"Another kind of fun thing for", she explained, "is that my wigs are going to lay flatter if I ever do wanna wear a wig."
"If I wanna do a buzzcut color, I can do any color without actually doing it on my own head," she continued. "I can do a buzzcut wig. Either way, it's like much easier all around. And it's too hot for that s---, even though it's almost fall. This is just better, it's a lot better."

MONKEYPOX 😱 US Declares State Of Emergency Over MonkeyPox Virus
MONKEYPOX 😱 US Declares State Of Emergency Over MonkeyPox Virus
The Biden administration has declared a state of emergency due to monkeypox. The illness has infected over 6,600 people in the United States.
What is Monkeypox?
Monkeypox got its name in 1958, when it was detected in several laboratory apes. It is a zoonotic viral disease, which means it can be transmitted from animals to humans. It can also pass from human to human.
Human monkeypox was first identified in 1970 in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) in a 9-month-old boy, in a region where smallpox (a close relative) had been eliminated in 1968.
Symptoms are similar to those seen, in the past, in smallpox patients, but it is clinically less severe (smallpox was eradicated worldwide in 1980). In 2003, the first Monkeypox outbreak outside Africa was reported in the United States and was linked to contact with infected pet prairie dogs.
Despite the name, most of the animals susceptible to contracting the disease, and then infecting people, are rodents, such as Gambian giant rats, dormice, or tree squirrels.
Where is it typically found?
Monkeypox is most found in the rain forests of central and western Africa, where animals that can carry the virus are native, and the disease is endemic. In these countries, it is increasingly appearing in urban areas.
On occasion, it can also be found elsewhere, in people who could have been infected after visiting these countries.
What are the symptoms?
Symptoms usually include fever, severe headache, muscle aches, back pain, low energy, swollen lymph nodes, and skin rashes or lesions.
The rash usually begins on the first or third day of the onset of fever. The lesions may be flat or slightly raised, filled with clear or yellowish fluid, then crust over, dry up, and fall off.
The number of lesions varies, from a few to several thousand. The rash tends to appear on the face, the palms of the hands, and the soles of the feet. They can also be found in the mouth, genitals, and eyes.
Can people die from monkeypox?
In most cases, the symptoms of Monkeypox go away on their own within a few weeks but, in between three and six per cent of cases reported in countries where it is endemic, it can lead to medical complications and even death. New-born babies, children, and people with immune system deficiencies may be at risk of more severe symptoms and death from the disease.
In severe cases, symptoms include skin infections, pneumonia, confusion, and eye infections that can lead to vision loss.
Many of the fatal cases are children or people who may have other health conditions.
How is monkeypox transmitted from animals to humans?
The virus can be spread to people when they come into physical contact with infected animals, which include rodents and primates.
The risk of contracting it from animals can be reduced by avoiding unprotected contact with wild animals, especially those that are sick or dead (including contact with their flesh and blood).
It is crucial to stress that any food containing meat or animal parts should be cooked, especially in countries where Monkeypox is endemic.
How is it spread from person to person?
The virus is spread through physical contact with someone who has symptoms. Rashes, body fluids (such as fluids, pus, or blood from skin lesions), and scabs are particularly infectious.
Ulcers, lesions or sores can also be infectious since the virus can be spread through saliva. Contact with objects that have been in contact with the infected person - such as clothing, bedding, towels - or objects such as eating utensils can also represent a source of infection.
People who have the disease are contagious while they have symptoms (usually within the first two to four weeks). It is not clear whether or not people who are asymptomatic can transmit the disease.
Who is at risk of getting it?
Anyone who comes into physical contact with someone with symptoms or an infected animal, is at increased risk of infection.
Those who live with infected people have a high risk of infection. Health workers, by the very nature of their job, are at risk of exposure.
Children are often more likely to have severe symptoms than teens and adults.
The virus can also be transmitted from a pregnant woman to the foetus through the placenta, or through contact of an infected parent with the child, during or after delivery, through skin-to-skin contact.
Is there any treatment?
Symptoms often go away on their own without the need for treatment. It is important to care for the rash by letting it dry if possible or cover it with a moist bandage if necessary to protect the area.
Avoid touching any eye or mouth sores. Mouthwashes and eye drops can be used as long as products containing cortisone are avoided.

President Biden Calls For The Immediate Release Of Brittney Griner From Russian Prison 😱
Brittney Griner sentenced to 9 years in Russian prison after conviction on drug charges
U.S. basketball star Brittney Griner was convicted in Russia of drug possession and sentenced to nine years in prison following a politically charged trial that came amid soaring tensions between Moscow and Washington over Ukraine and could lead to a high-stakes prisoner exchange between the two world powers.
The 31-year-old Griner, a two-time U.S. Olympic champion and a eight-time all-star with the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury listened with a blank expression as an interpreter translated the verdict by Judge Anna Sotnikova. The judge also fined 1 million rubles (about $16,000) fine.
"I never meant to hurt anybody to put in jeopardy the Russian population or violate any Russian laws. I made an honest mistake and I hope that your ruling, that it doesn't end my life here," Griner told the court earlier Thursday, apologizing to her family, her teammates, her fans, and the Russian people.
"I know everybody keeps talking about political pawn and politics, but I hope that that is far from this courtroom... I hope you take into account all the documents, all the character lists that everybody has sent in on my behalf... This is my second home, and all I wanted to do was just win championships and make them proud," she said.
U.S. President Joe Biden denounced the verdict and sentence as "unacceptable."
"I call on Russia to release her immediately so she can be with her wife, loved ones, friends, and teammates," Biden said, adding that he would continue to work to bring home Griner and Paul Whelan, an American imprisoned in Russia on an espionage conviction.
As Brittney Griner was taken from the court after the verdict, she told reporters: "I love my family." Her lawyers said she was very upset, stressed, and could hardly talk.

Earlier in the session, with a conviction all but certain, an emotional Griner made a final appeal to the court for leniency. She said she had no intention to break the law by bringing vape cartridges with cannabis oil when she flew to Moscow in February to play basketball in the city of Yekaterinburg.
"I want to apologize to my teammates, my club, my fans and the city of (Yekaterinburg) for my mistake that I made and the embarrassment that I brought on them," Griner said, her voice cracking. "I want to also apologize to my parents, my siblings, the Phoenix Mercury organization back at home, the amazing women of the WNBA, and my amazing spouse back at home."
Under Russian law, the 31-year-old Griner faces up to 10 years in prison, but judges have considerable latitude on sentencing.
If she does not go free, attention will turn to the possibility of a high-stakes prisoner swap that was proposed last week by U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken to his Russian counterpart.
Griner said Yekaterinburg, a city east of the Ural Mountains, had become her "second home."
"I had no idea that the team, the cities, the fans, my teammates would make such a great impression on me over the 6 1/2 years that I spent here," she said. "I remember vividly coming out of the gym and all the little girls that were in the stands there waiting on me, and that's what kept making me come back here."
Prosecutor Nikolai Vlasenko insisted that Griner packed the cannabis oil deliberately, and he asked the court to hand Briner a fine of 1 million rubles (about $16,700) in addition to the prison sentence.
Lawyers for the Phoenix Mercury center and two-time Olympic gold medalist have sought to bolster Griner's contention that she had no criminal intent and that the canisters ended up in her luggage by mistake. They presented character witnesses from the Yekaterinburg team that she plays for in the WNBA offseason and written testimony from a doctor who said he prescribed her cannabis for pain treatment from injuries sustained in her basketball career.
Her lawyer, Maria Blagovolina, argued that Griner used the cannabis only in Arizona, where medical marijuana is legal.
She emphasized that Griner was packing in haste after a grueling flight and suffering from the consequences of COVID-19. Blagovolina also pointed out that the analysis of cannabis found in Griner's possession was flawed and violated legal procedures.
Blagovolina asked the court to acquit Griner, noting that she had no past criminal record and hailing her role in "the development of Russian basketball."
Another defense attorney, Alexander Boykov, emphasized Griner's role in taking her Yekaterinburg team to win multiple championships, noting that she was loved and admired by her teammates. He told the judge that a conviction would undermine Russia's efforts to develop national sports and make Moscow's call to depoliticize sports sound shallow.
