The Sopranos Cast Talks Series Finale & More With Frank the Tank | Episode 9 presented by BODYARMOR
DOUBLE EPISODE:
Walk 1 - Robert Funaro (Eugene Pontecorvo), Dan Grimaldi (Patsy/Philly Parisi), Jason Cerbone (Jackie Jr.)
Walk 2 - Federico Castelluccio (Furio Giunta)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Arguably, the greatest television show ever made, The Sopranos, debuted on HBO in 1999. Igniting a new era of prestige television, The Sopranos changed how we view cable television series. Based in Northern New Jersey, The Sopranos ran for eight years, with a still debated finale in 2007. With countless memorable episodes and characters, The Sopranos continues to find new audiences as those who were too young to watch the show in the past begin to tune in and get hooked like their parents two decades earlier. For episode 9, I was joined by Jason Cerbone, who played Jackie Aprile Jr., Dan Grimaldi, who had the duel role of twins Phil and Patsy Parisi, and Robert Funaro, who played Eugene Pontecorvo. We walked on a rainy day inside a Restaurant Depot near Atlantic City. Discussing what projects they are involved with today, including Omerta Caffé, a line of coffees and cigars inspired by the Sopranos, after a sit down at Chico & Sons in Northfield. Later, I was joined by Federico Castellucio, who played Furio Giunta, while attending Paisan Con in Fairfield.

Denny Hamlin Walks with Frank on Nascar's Oldest Track | presented by BODYARMOR
For Walk 8, I was joined by NASCAR legend Denny Hamlin. The walk was before the Dude Wipes 250 at Martinsville Speedway in Southern Virginia. The walk included two laps around NASCAR" 's oldest and smallest track. Named one of NASCAR's 75 greatest drives, Hamlin is among 15 drives with 50 career Cup series wins. He is ranked 13th in all-time victories, one away from Lee Petty's immortal 54 wins. This includes three victories in the Daytona 500. When I walked with Hamlin, he was six days removed from his latest victory in Richmond. A veteran who was named Rookie of the Year in 2006, Denny Hamlin, who races for Joe Gibbs Racing, is transitioning into owning his own team. In 2020, he partnered with Michael Jordan for 23X1 racing, with Bubba Wallace and Trevor Reddick in their racing stable.

Frank the Tank Walks With the NYPD & FDNY
As I took Walk 200 around Citi Field; before Dwight Gooden's number 16 was retired, I was joined by members of the NYPD and FDNY. The NYPD and FDNY were preparing to play the 50th annual Heroes hockey game at UBS Arena, which was scheduled six days later. I walked with members of each team, discussing the game's legacy and their work in raising money for good causes. This video was initially shown as part of the first intermission during the game that FDNY 6-5 won.

Frank Walks Episode 7: Don Mattingly presented by BodyArmor
For walk 7, I had a chance to walk around Central Park with Don Mattingly. For a generation, Mattingly was the face of the New York Yankees. Playing from 1982-1995, some of the franchise's leanest years, Don Mattingly was the lone stalwart. Don Mattingly served as Yankees captain and was the best player in baseball for a four-year stretch, 1984-1987. He won the American League MVP in 1985 and a batting crown in 1984. A six-time All-Star, Matting won three silver sluggers and nine gold gloves before a back injury curtailed the end of his career. Despite this, many feel that Don Mattingly should be in the Hall of Fame, and momentum for that seems to be growing through the veteran's committee. Since retirement, Mattingly has served as manager of the Los Angeles Dodgers and Miami Marlins. He currently is the bench coach for the Toronto Blue Jays.

Frank Walks Episode 6: Allan Houston presented by BODYARMOR
For walk six, I walked around midtown Manhattan, near Madison Square Garden, with Allan Houston. Houston played in the NBA for 12 seasons, nine with the New York Knicks and three with the Detroit Pistons. He was a two-time All-Star and played on the Gold Medal, winning Team USA at the Sydney Olympics in 2000. Allan Houston was a crucial member of the Knicks' 1999 run to the NBA Finals, becoming the first eighth seed to make the NBA Finals. His shot in 1999 in Game 5 won the series, propelling the Knicks' magical run. Injuries cut short Houston's career in 2005. His number 20 is retired by the Tennessee Volunteers. Since retiring, Allan Houston has worked in the Knicks' front office and currently serves as assistant general manager. Off the court, Allan Houston dedicates his time to his mentoring program FISLL (Faith, Integrity, Sacrifice, Leadership, Legacy).

Tank Cooks Beef Wellington
You asked for it
Now, here it is, Beef Wellington
Recipe sent by Sean Ryan
Ingredients:
3 pounds center-cut beef tenderloin
12 ounces mushrooms
3 shallots, diced
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, plus more for drizzling
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 teaspoons fresh thyme leaves
1 tablespoon dry sherry or dry vermouth
Kosher salt and black pepper
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
10 to 12 thin slices of prosciutto
1 large egg
16ounces puff pastry, thawed
Directions:
1. Make duxelles: In a food processor, pulse mushrooms, shallots, and thyme until finely chopped.
2. Add olive oil to a cast iron pan under high heat and stir in mushrooms, minced garlic, and shallot. Cook until the liquid the mushrooms release has cooked off, 4 to 7 minutes. Reduce heat to medium and continue to cook until mushrooms are browned, stirring frequently, another 18 to 23 minutes.
3. Stir in sherry, scraping up the browned bits on the bottom of the pan. Scrape mixture into a medium bowl to cool.
4. Using kitchen twine, tie the tenderloin into a 12-inch log, folding the thinner end onto itself. (Use your hands to squeeze the meat into a log. You can be aggressive here.)
5. Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil over medium-high in the same skillet. Season beef generously with salt and pepper, then sear on all sides until browned, 1 to 2 minutes per side. Transfer to a plate and cool slightly. Remove any twine. Brush meat all over with Dijon Mustard
6. On a clean work surface, overlap long sheets of plastic wrap (about 15 by 15 inches). Place prosciutto slices on top to make about a 14-by-7-inch rectangle, arranging them in an even layer and overlapping the pieces slightly. Spread the cooled mushroom mixture on top.
7. Place beef along one long end of the prosciutto slices and roll prosciutto tightly around the beef. Wrap tightly with plastic wrap, twisting both ends like a candy wrapper. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes and up to overnight.
8. Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a rimmed baking sheet with foil. Whisk together the egg and 1 teaspoon of water in a small bowl. Lay the puff pastry out on the prepared baking sheet, lightly draping over the edges. (The pastry needs to be at least 14 inches long and 13 inches wide to cover the beef; if not, roll it out as needed.)
9. Carefully unwrap and place the chilled log along the edge of one long side of puff pastry. Roll beef up tightly, then place it seam-side down on the baking sheet. Tuck puff pastry over the ends of the beef to cover them, pinching to seal and folding underneath. Brush the top and sides of the pastry with egg wash, and use a small sharp knife to cut a few slits into the top of the pastry.
10. Bake until a thermometer inserted in the center reads 130°F 115 degrees for medium rare, 25 to 35 minutes. (This timing will yield rare pieces at the thicker end and medium-done pieces at the thinner end of the loin.) Remove from oven and let rest for 10 minutes, then slice and serve while warm
