The puppies toenails are so sharp that I decided to give them their first toenail trim. I know Peaches appreciated it.

Today my husband was given this pretty little mule. After a little research on him I found out he is the mule that I helped to halter break. I was impressed with him as a 4 month old and I still like how smooth he moves.

Peaches had 6 puppies. This is the first time I’ve put them outside to play. The pups with the lt blue, black and sparkly collars on have been picked . The other 3 are still waiting for their new owners to find them.

I put the pups in this basket after weighing each one. They knew when Peaches came into the room. It’s amazing their sense of smell at only 9 days old.

I’ve been weighing Peaches puppies everyday to make sure they are all gaining. I think I need a higher bowl to keep them in while I weigh them.

Peaches has been such a good momma dog.

The best way to know if all the pups are getting their share of the milk is the weigh them every morning. Or until I can’t keep them in the weighing bowl. #belgianmalinois #belgianmalinoispuppies #cutepups

The puppies are 5 days old here. I’ve never seen puppies so active at this young of age.

The puppy are 3 days old today. They are Belgian Malinois. Peaches had 6 puppies and all of them are girls. I was going to keep a male puppy but there wasn’t one.

Peaches had her puppies last night. She had 6 healthy puppies. All of the pups are females. Of course I was wanting to keep a male puppy. She has been a very attentive mother. She looked somewhat confused when they all started whining.

Since Peaches kept jumping onto the grooming table I decided it was time for a toenail trim anyway.

Peaches has 5 to 10 days before her due date. I fixed her a birthing bed out of an old waterbed frame . The foam part that holds the water blatter. I put another bed in the middle and 2 blankets that can be thrown away. She loves showing her belly. I can’t believe how big bag is already. #belgianmalinois #welppingbed.

Zak is an amazing service dog. After a long day of running errands I usually stop to get Zak a treat. He turns his nose up when I offer him hamburgers or fries. But when it comes to ice cream he just can’t refuse that.

It’s so nice when Peaches comes to help me with the laundry without me even having to ask. She knows how to give me that look to get a treat also. Which was just her regular dog food.

Last night was a beautiful,peaceful sunset on the Coosa River.

Last night on the pier I noticed movement in the water. I looked with a spotlight to see this huge gar fish hiding under the edge of the pier. Not just under the pier but also lined up with a pipe that’s under the water. Even fish are smarter than some people think.

Has anyone had a problem with their dogs being more aggressive after they have been neutered? Zak was neutered at 5 years of age. That’s been about a year and a half ago. I thought they were supposed to be calmer but that’s not what happened with him. While walking the together this weekend another stray dog came up and started circling us. Zak went crazy. Growling uncontrollably. Later that afternoon a neighbor and her two boxer dogs came to visit. All went well with no fights. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this aggression problem after their dogs have been neutered. #standardpoodle #aggressivedog

Zak is a very hard sleeper. He has one magic word that will wake him up. “squirrel!”
