Imagine a moment, a holy instant in time, where every one of the ego’s trinkets and toys are laid down. Imagine a moment , where every thought of anger is forgiven, and the need for judgment is let go. Imagine expanding this moment from one to many, and from many to all. This is the gift that the present moment forever offers you — the opportunity to consciously align with and express the Divine. Today, align with this understanding by placing the present moment fully in God’s hands, and by doing so allowing God to lead you. When you do, you will feel the peace of God embrace you and the need for judgment, anxiety and anger begin to slowly fade away. Today, let us recognize when we are aligned with the present moment and when we are not. When we are aligned with the now, peace results. We can get to this place of peace by simply letting go of our misperceptions and trusting in the plan that we have co-designed with the Divine. Being all One, let us also trust that everyone else deserves this same grace — the opportunity to grow and reach God, the state of peace, at their own pace and in their own way. If we instead choose the ego’s past programming or future imaginings, a loss of peace results. Lost in this unconscious state of mind, thoughts of judgment, anxiousness, confusion and chaos reign. Thankfully, we do have free will. Today, using our free will, let us simply forgive the past, place the future fully in God’s hands and by doing so return to the eternal now, the Holy Instant, the present moment, where the peace of God forever resides. Today, let us not curse or condemn the darkness. The acts of cursing and condemnation are not in alignment with our eternal loving essence and nature. Instead, let us recall that because God is Love and All, even the darkness can and will be used by God to aid in our growth, healing and awakening process. If the darkness can be used, then it is useful. If it is useful, then gratitude, not judgment, is the appropriate response to it. Just as the light naturally unites us with God, so too can the darkness when it is used for good. In its own unique way, the darkness, when used properly, can help us better represent our all-loving Source here on Earth. When we can learn to use the darkness to rediscover the light within it is then that you realize that each and every moment is a gift from God to you. Today, let us learn to catch the dark thoughts when they are trying to enter and rule over our mind. Then let us use them to trigger in us the desire to search for and replace them with their opposite. In essence, we use the darkness as a tool to help awaken us to the ever-present availability of the light. This way, we learn to use even the darkness for good. Thus you have brought into your life individuals, situations and opportunities that are here to teach you how to free yourself from the burden of judgment. It is forgiveness that frees you from the burden of judgment. Yes — every time your ego tries to convince you to judge yourself or others, what is really happening is that the universe is bringing into your life opportunities, through forgiveness, to free yourself from a mindset that imprisons you in the ego's world. It accomplishes this by manifesting your thoughts and feelings into physical forms. This way, it becomes easier for you to see the false beliefs hidden within you that are separating you from the states of peace and non-judgment. Today, if the ego demands that we judge ourself or others, let us recall that we have free will. Then let us confidently and calmly deny the ego’s demands. Now, knowing that the ego’s judgment-centered roads do not lead us to the states of peace and non-judgment, let us look for a wiser and more loving Advisor. Whereas the ego’s judgment-centered programs lead us to confusion and chaos, God’s loving expression of forgiveness leads us to clarity and peace. Aligned with Love, we can now thank the ego for being a part of a sacred process that realigned our awareness with the Divine. Today, let us notice that we end up experiencing what we focus on. The choice of what we focus on is always ours to make. The more our thoughts, words and actions are focused on achieving a state of peace, the more peaceful our experiences will be. Equally so, the more our thoughts, words and actions are focused on chaos, the more chaotic our experiences will be. So let us practice making peace our focus today. As we do, we will reduce how much we blame the outer world for how we feel. The less we blame the outer world the, and we will take greater personal responsibility we take for our experiences. The more we make peace our conscious focus, the more it becomes the foundation of our experiences will become our natural state. In the end, after all is said and done, thanks to free will, it is we who get to decide how much peace we experience. Today, remember that we experience what we place our thoughts and focus on. Thus the world we experience is not so much a function of what seems to be happening “out there,” but is instead a reflection of the thoughts that we are choosing to entertain. Yes, you have unconsciously asked your brother to help you bring forth to your conscious awareness those areas in your life where you still perceive the ego’s thought system as real, that reactions and expressions of judgment, anger, and revenge, are correct and proper responses to God's creation. If our thoughts have trapped us in a world of judgment, anger, and chaos, then know, that it is also our own thoughts that can set us free. When we realize that only our thoughts can hurt us, we will stop directing our attacks outward and start working on challenging our own internal dialogue. When our internal dialogue becomes more reflective of the truth in us, of the loving energy that created us, it is then that the desires for judgment, anger, and chaos, will begin to diminish. For we are all One, and thus what we consciously or unconsciously think about ourselves, will be in one way or another projected onto this world. Our thoughts of Oneness/Love will help remind us that there is no one ‘out there’ to attack, and so no one ‘outside’ of us that can attack us. If there is no one you must defend against, then the ‘outside’ world once again becomes a safe, loving, and peaceful place. Knowingly or not, you possess within a limitless well of kindness. Yet the ego would insist that kindness can be limited, and that it must be rewarded with gratitude in order for this well to be refilled. According to the ego, if kindness is not rewarded then you are on the losing end of a transaction, a mathematical formula that proves the scarcity of God. But what has been gifted to you by God, the ego’s world can never take away, and thus is forever yours. And so today let us remember that what is in truth eternally ours, always increases as we shared it. It is kindness, as a representative and extension of Love, that reminds us of our Oneness. When the moment is fully placed in God’s hands, worry, stress, and anxiety dissolve. Today when the ego once again insists that worry, stress, and anxiety are the sane solutions to our situation, instead let us offer completely and wholeheartedly that moment over to God and finally find peace. Today when the ego tries to sell you the insane as sane, stop and say to yourself: “Father/Mother I now release this moment over to You knowing that my highest will and Your Will are One. We are the Love that created us. This Love is All, and thus only the Love in us is real. There is no opposition to All/Love. Yet in a world of duality the ego makes illusions seem real. One such illusion is the idea of anger. When anger appears, it is simply showing us where we are seeing and experiencing the illusion as real. Therefore what we are actually trying to do is eliminate that unconscious block (anger) we have that is “separating” us from the awareness of love. Thus the people, who ‘bring out’ this anger in us, are the ones who we should be thanking, not cursing. Our highest self understands what blocks we are holding unto, thus it calls out to the Universe for help in bringing these blocks out of our mind and into the physical experience. It also calls out to those individuals who can best help us physically manifest our illusionary thinking. This experience helps us better see and understand what is separating us from Love. Forgiveness dissolves all illusionary blocks and once again aligns us with the state of Love. The snake uses its venom because it knows no other way. We may be so used to the poison we carry within that we now may feel immune to it. Regardless of how comfortable we have convinced ourselves we are, poison does not belong within us. When we attack and spew venom be it through thought, word, or action, know that because we are all One, it is our own peace of mind that we’re endangering. Every single word or action begins as a thought within our mind, thus to strike, it must first flow through us. Be it kind or unkind, thoughtful or thoughtless, it is we who host and experience every thought we think and express. Regardless how destructive our illusionary thoughts are, regardless of how natural they may sometimes feel, they are not natural expressions of who we in truth are, they are the ego’s programmed responses, and the more we use them, the more we will realize that this is so. When you are expressing your true essence, that of love, compassion, forgiveness, peace, and joy, you will have a flowing sensation throughout your day. Anytime during the day that you do not feel yourself flowing, know that there is some type of unlearning/releasing of the illusion that you are bringing into your awareness. Do not curse such moments for having you focus on what you are not, instead offer gratitude that by seeing them for what they truly are, you now have the opportunity to unlearn what you no longer desire to experience or become an example of. Let us remember that every time we experience such a moment, a moment that the ego would have us judge others and ourselves for, instead see it as the gift of freedom that it truly is. May 18 - We Do Not Live in Some Imaginary Gap in God Get your free daily inspirational messages via email - subscribe at https://www.chosentoremember.com/subscribe/ ... There are no gaps in God. There are no gaps in That Which Is All and All Which Is Love. Love, being everywhere and All, can have no gaps, limits, opposites, cracks or holes in it. You cannot fall through a crack in God's love, nor can you ever be forgotten by God. There are numerous expressions of love, such as peace, joy, forgiveness and compassion. All of these expressions of love are you, and are in you. Love’s extensions, energies, and expressions are our true nature, essence and Home, who we came here to be, support and share. Yet for the ego to continue to survive and thrive through us, it must convince us that this is not so. It must convince us that we are separate from God and can thus fall through gaps where God does not exist and thus where the ego rules as king. We think we fall into these imaginary gaps when we are not being the love that the Creator of the universe created us to be. We fall into these gaps when we are buying into the ego’s lies about us as true. Today, let us recall that God is All. Thus it is impossible for us not to be a part of Him or apart from Him. Let us close our eyes, breathe in, and feel God’s love and light enter, fill and embrace us. Then let us breathe out all of our misperceptions and allow God’s love and light to once again take their rightful place. Let us no longer value the ego’s lies more than Divine truth. Let us remember that when we choose judgment over forgiveness, worry over trust, and hate over love, we are choosing the ego’s false concept of separation over our eternal essence and union with our all-loving Source. Today, if you find yourself buying into the ego’s lies, do not despair. That sense of falling through a crack or gap in God, that feeling of being separate, lost or alone — they are just paragraphs within the ego’s fairy tales, and the ego’s fairy tales will never be real or true. ... If we would like to experience more peace and compassion in our life, then we must make the effort to focus on them. We can bring them into focus by making them our goals for our interactions. Therefore today, before any interaction, remind yourself, “Peace and compassion are my goals for this interaction.” Peace and compassion are both expressions of love. Thus anytime we align with or use any of love’s expressions, we are opening the way for peace and compassion to become our companions. When in doubt, do not despair, for you will get through what you are going through. God, being perfect Love, would never not offer you anything that you could not handle or overcome. If you decrease the amount of time you spend on a thought, that thought becomes a smaller part of your day. If you continue to spend less time thinking that thought, then it becomes a smaller part of your life. And so you see, it is you who controls the quality of your day and life by the thoughts you choose to focus on and thus color your experience. The journey we are will be taking today is not so much an external one, as it is but an internal one. It is a journey to a place we may have temporally forgotten, but in truth have never left. The present moment is our destination. The present moment is a place freed from past judgments and future imaginings. Free will is one of the main navigation tools that we have been gifted to help us reach our destination. When we are focused on judgment or anger, it feels like we are going against the current, one that is in opposition to our true nature. When we are in alignment with the Love that God is, with peace guiding our decisions, we feel like we are headed in the right direction, with the wind at our back. One focus weighs us down, blows us off-center and leads us astray. The other choice helps deliver take us to our desired destination. Today, let us practice recognizing the signs that show us when we are in or out of alignment with the now. The present moment is an expression of Love, who is God. Thus anytime we are aligned with the now, we are aligned with Love’s expressions. Feeling peaceful, joyful, forgiving and kind are all signs of one who is in alignment with Love and the present moment. Feeling judgmental, angry, sad, stressed out, anxious, revengeful and hateful are all signs of someone who is buying into the ego's past programs and thus is out of alignment with the now. Today, let us not condemn ourself or others if we find that we are not being present. Instead, let us learn to recognize the signs of when we are out of alignment with the now, stop that line of thinking, align our mind with Love, extend that love in whichever ways the present moment is requesting, and by doing so correct our course. ...
