*******
I dedicate this song to the beautiful people of Canada for their warm spirits, their kindness, and their MASSIVE wake up call to the world.
You are family.
My heart is with you as it is with the same overall movement you started here in the states and elsewhere.

THANK YOU SO MUCH.

But let no one forget that the most peaceful protest this world has seen in generations was met with trampling horses, and that a line was drawn in the snow.

SPECIAL THANKS TO:
- The participants of the ongoing CFC2022 Protests in Ottawa, Canada and elsewhere across the world
- HUGE thank you and clip credits to the five YouTube channels I sat glued to for 3 weeks straight:
- Ottawalks
- Travel Fun 69 (Jeff)
- Viva Frei
- Zoke
- ZOT / ZNN (Matt and Charlotte)
--☝ Like, share, hit the bell and subscribe to them all! ☝--
- Every other live streamer who covered (and continues to cover) these events - TYFYS
- The snare drummer featured in this song (great playing!)
- The people of Canada and France who supplied the “Liberté” chant audio

My Story:

I am a Christian who was (just before Christmas) placed on involuntary, unpaid LOA by my “employer” after a 20+ year career.
(I’ll give you three guesses why this ☝ happened, and the first two don’t count)

I was working for a civilian-run nuclear government contractor where I started as a facility operator, then ultimately worked my way up into a principle engineering position (with no degree).
Up to the very end, I was consistently ranked #1 among my peers during annual employee performance reviews.
Guess that doesn’t matter for anything; I was still threatened with termination and tossed aside like an animal, having my livelihood stolen out from under me.
I had been working from home for the majority of the past 2 years, and was requesting 1. continued work from home and 2. self-reporting of test results at my expense, weekly) because of unexplained “undue burden”.

I do not deserve to be treated that way.

NO ONE DOES, ANYWHERE😠.

Now, I am a listener-supported indie musician, composer, sound designer, lyricist (in desperate need of a singer, by the way😅), and producer of Electronic Music.

I’ve spent the past several years learning as much as I can about sound design and music production in general rather than shoveling out everything I make, no matter the mix quality.

I began playing keys when I was 8 years old (Christmas in the mid-80s) on a Casio PT-80 keyboard, a device that literally taught me how to play. I fell in love with music from that point on, playing old songs like Greensleeves, Old Folks at Home (by Stephen Foster), and even some Phil Collins on the ROM carts that came with it for practically that entire Christmas vacation. I had mastered several songs by the time I went back to school that following year.

When I was a teen, I bought some gear to start making my own music, but this was always a solo thing for me because not many of my friends had any interest in music. Those who did have moved away and we have lost touch. I made a few songs, but knew absolutely nothing about production or sound design at the time. Eventually, I shelved the music in favor of a steady job, mortgage, and car payment.

I decided I wanted more meaningful work out of life and withdrew a large chunk of my retirement money to start Ambiotic Project LLC in 2014, buy the gear I needed, and buy software. Then I saved even more money to buy more gear, including a 16-voice Moog One Synth (which is heavily featured in this song).

This music is my humble attempt to 1) create an ambient atmosphere of unity, awakening, and liberty through music, and 2) change the world in a peaceful way, and 3) make an honest, sustainable living doing what I love to do instead of working in the toxic, sycophantic, bureaucratic, perception-trumps-reality environment that’s prevalent at my previous workplace (and probably most others).

But I need your help more than ever.

If you enjoyed this song, if it inspires you (and I really hope it does), or if you want to support the work I am doing, cash and crypto donations are GREATLY appreciated (links above).
