Arizona Maricopa Driving from Gila Bend to Maricopa with the sunset at our backs 1

I love this highway. Highway 238 between Maricopa and Gila Bend. There are big dips in the road to alleviate water runoff during “monsoon” season, and interesting twists and turns. A train follows the highway on the right, while a mountain range borders most of the highway on the Left. We’re in a long shallow valley with plenty of cactuses, scrub brush and interesting wildlife from time to time.Show more
