Buddhism, Emptiness and Fulfillment

The contemporary Buddhist concept of emptiness (shunyata) only describes half of the path to spiritual liberation (nirvana). Once we have emptied ourselves of that which is not real, then we have to embrace that which is real in the absolute sense. Gautama Buddha was a follower of Sanatana Dharma for the entire duration of his life. Fully realizing atman, or our eternal spiritual self, is the actual goal of the Buddha's original teachings. The original teachings of the Buddha is the subject of this short video of a discourse by Sri Dharma Pravartaka Acharya.
