Wayne County, Taylor Michigan WE HAVE A PROBLEM!

One thing just leads to another. Some sidewalks are neglected around vacant lots and those great citizens aka ((SLAVES)) of Taylor who try to remove overgrown branches, weeds, vines that cause dangerous situations are told to STOP by the city "because they aren't the property owner." Well, wouldn't you know my friend my friend Ron got hurt. Weeds and low branches knocked him off from his bicycle late July 2021 and needed surgery for a broken ankle and torn ligaments. His bike life, liberty and purist of happiness ended early this season.
Ron called two lawyers that told him there's nothing he can do due to "City Immunity/ Governmental Immunity/ Torte Liability"
[Section 691.1407 Immunity from tort liability; intentional torts; immunity of judge, legislator, official, and guardian ad litem; immunity of governmental agency under MISS DIG underground facility damage prevention and safety act; definitions.]
Taylor has a $9 million surplus in TIFA funds and are spending over a million dollars for a sign to be placed on Telegraph Rd WELCOME TO TAYLOR
Taylor NEEDS continuous properly maintained sidewalks and protected bike lanes everywhere, on most roads we have incomplete sidewalks.
So what can we do? We're told to stop clearing weeds/low branches and when a Living Soul gets injured he can't collect for damages.... or can he? I wonder if this immunity is only between CORPORATIONS? Everyone needs to start going to these City Council meetings where MILLIONS of dollars is just being tossed around, ie disc golf will cost disc golf correction for $48,643.00 not to exceed $53,507.00
.
My friend Susan Deplanche would love better side walks and even bike lanes, she is an older woman who walks with a walker 8 HOURS A DAY and she has lost over 120 lbs!
