But if you are looking for interesting colors, color combinations or exotic looking tulips, then you need to look at Roozengaarde Tulip garden to see more interesting colors and varieties. It seems to be a top tourist destination for Canadians on day trips. If you are a photographer, visiting the Skagit valley during Tulip bloom season is one of the best places you can go to practice your photography. You’ll see hundreds of people there with cameras, most of the professional photographers I’d met there, love to give tips and advice to budding photographers. What’s not to like about that an environment so rich in photographic subjects that you’ll stare in amazement the first few minutes you’re there. If you are shooting models there are countless places for incredible backdrops, but one piece of advice. The fields are very close to the ocean, and the fields are flat for miles with very few trees. So any time of the year it will be cold as soon as the winds pick up. Make sure your models and yourself dress for colder weather, or at least bring warmer clothes with them.
