Inauguration Day 2021 Will Be Quite Different, But Not Unprecedented At All

The Installation of Joe Biden, rather Inauguration of Joe Biden as the 46th President of the United States takes place this Wednesday, January 20th at 12:00. President Trump's current plans involve kicking it around the White House until the morning of Inauguration and having some sort of a send off from Joint Base Andrews in Maryland, but could address the nation in the next couple days as a send off of sorts. The plans aren't entirely clear.

What is clear though is that Donald Trump skipping out on the proceedings is not even close to the unprecedented move that it is being painted as, rather it has happened 3 additional time in the past due to contentious election cycles. Gawrsh, sounds rather familiar.

But if the Media is to try and cover the day as a great success, let's see if they borrow from the playbook of 2017 by saying that the event was a 'peaceful protest' where only a small amount of people were violent... With 217 arrests on the day.

Even the plans for the Inauguration ceremony itself aren't totally known, as in why and what are all the troops doing stationed at the Capitol? Or what could potentially be going on at the State Capitol's as well.
