Although Sylvester Stallone wrote and starred in “Rocky” since the 1970s, he doesn’t have an ownership stake in the franchise. According to Business Insider, Stallone wants some ownership because he invented the character. The actor said he didn’t try too hard to get ownership after his attorney told him that “no one gets it.” While he made $2.5 million from the first “Rocky,” he hasn’t made everything he could from the new films.
