Researchers discovered a compound called Cnicin from the blessed thistle plant that shows promise in promoting nerve regeneration. In animal models, Cnicin significantly improved motor function and nerve cell growth compared to controls. Notably, it can be taken orally, unlike other similar treatments, making it a potentially convenient option for future nerve damage therapies
