When you have a degree in audio engineering as I do (I don't mean to brag or anything but I can show you the scanned certificate from 2007-2008, I got pretty dang good grades too), you understand why analog audio is vastly superior to that of digital.

Without a vinyl player, one can simply not know any piece of audio recording to its fullest expression.

In the most simple of terms, analog is to mushroom as digital is to L.S.D. (lysergic acid diethylamide). Or, a classic Marshall JCM 800 tube amp that gives that gorgeous crunch, or the sparkling cleans of a Fender Twin Reverb as exemplified by the marvellous clean tones of the most fabulous of high Asclepian musicians, Drab Majesty (Mona D. and Deb Demure).

The analog audio signal is the total pure reproduction of the sound, similar to the older clay and wax sound recording devices and cassettes.

The vinyl player needle follows the singular wave sound signal throughout its entire path, instead of only at certain points such as the case with digital audio.

The more you compress digital audio to reduce file size, the more information you lose, and this usually occurs with the higher and lower fidelity frequencies that are partially inaudible by the human ear, and partially ignored in favor of other frequency bands, especially that of human speech towards which the human ear is perfectly adapted.

So to go from an original mixed and mastered .wav file to a 128kbit mp3 requires a high amount of compression and loss of quality and data. Try it yourself. Use a high quality sound system, headphones, and any other test speaker and play a .wav file, a .flac (lossless) file, and a high (320kbit) and low (28kbit) compressed .mp3 file and you will immediately see the difference.

Myself and one of my root Gurus, Sifu Sufi Terry Terence Dunn have a good eagle eye for scouting talent. If your name appears positively, repeatedly and under a favorable light this means that you have a high degree of either talent, symetry, virtue, or any other combination of positive qualities. Many qualities are hard to identify, and as Alan Watts so well said, even with the best advancements in genetics, the wisest course of action is to always keep a wide diversity of human beings because you never know who will be useful and virtuous for what, for where, and for when. Refer to the classic story of the Chinese farmer to understand this. What at first seems like a disaster usually turns out to be the greatest blessing, and occassionally the opposite is true as well. So simply keep putting one foot in front of the other and keep going. The myth of Cyciphys can be gotten out of. You have several options. Either you tell your so-called boss to fuck off and that you quit and you leave the rock there and go on your merry way. Or, you crush the rock into a thousand pieces using your Thor Hammer (TM) (C) (R), or you can use your laser eyes to levitate, transport, and throw it at your bosses' new car, house, or anything else you can conjure up with your mind.

Mental levitation, locomotion, telikenisis, pyrokinesis, hydrokinesis, and metallurorgikinesis, as well as de- and re-atomozation (atomos means indivisible in latin if you study the etymological root) of any matter including your body. Eventually, as mentionned earlier, you will be able to create planets, stars, galaxies and entire starsystems as well as seed, maintain and monitor new forms of life, if such is in your destiny, and we all have a fate and a destiny. Because you have free will, your destiny is yours to decide.
