En esta fiesta, se suele arrojar estiércol de vaca a otras personas para traer salud, prosperidad y lluvias. El festejo, llamado Guerra Pidakala, es muy importante en la celebración de año nuevo según el calendario lunar hindú, Ugadi, en el pueblo de Gumatapura, India. La Guerra Pidakala por tradición se realiza al día siguiente del Ugadi. Así, este año se celebró el 10 de abril.
