We read this in the account of John’s revelation from Jesus, and the messenger’s sent to John. First, to record the message to the called out in seven cities in Asia Minor, and make sure they received the information. What we see following this information is the consequence of not following the instruction sent to the seven congregations. Five of these congregations were shown the issues that were a cause for concern and told to repent.

There were two congregations that were praised and exhorted to continue in the way even in the face of the persecution. So what do we know, and what do we hear?
