The full meeting of the Fairfield County Commissioners' weekly meeting for March 26, 2024.

The meeting began with a County Recognition presentation to Allison Bolinger, NASA Flight Director. This was followed by a Listen & Learn update from the Fairfield County Engineer Jeremiah Upp.

Public Comments started at 19:20 with only Sherry Pymer of Walnut Township presenting several articles pertaining to Industrial Solar and most notably how returning the land to agricultural use may be more difficult than is being said by the solar industry. https://citizensforfairfields.org/

The remainder of the meeting were items related to the regular Legal Update and County Administrative Update(s) and the commission's "voting pattern".

Of note: Commissioner Fix announced the start of the process to exclude large solar in all unincorporated townships in the county, excluding Eastern Cottontail solar project in Walnut Township.
