Breaking Traffic Laws in School Zones: The Shocking Truth Continues

This channel arose from one of our anti speed bump campaigns. Illegal speed bumps block a certain group of Americans with disabilities from simply going to and from their homes and are a civil rights violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.

The selfish h-y-p-o-c-r-i-t-e proponents of speed bumps number one weapon is invoking innocent children like “vote yes, do it for the safety of our kids”. This is complete utter nonsense.

So we thought other than following and videoing them pulling out of their driveway (which we have done) and then catch them speeding once they turned down our road (which we have done); what better way can we prove these illegal speed bumps are absolute hogwash?

How about we use their kids against them so to speak. Ding Ding Ding Winner Winner Chicken Dinner!

Since we can’t get local media involved let’s go to the school and catch them RED HANDED while they are dropping off and picking up their kids at school.

Boy were we surprised at what we found out! No, in fact we were not surprised at all. These people just don’t want you speeding by their house! They could care less if anyone speeds on your road.

In this video, we take a look at the unfortunate reality of parents being caught for speeding and running the 4-way stop signs in Knox County School drop-off zones.

This particular video is at the entrance to Farragut Intermediate School, Farragut Middle School and Farragut High School.

This video would be hillarious if it were not so serious!

As seen in the video, parents have been caught for speeding and running the stop signs in school drop-off zones, causing a major inconvenience to both them and other motorists on the road.

Unfortunately the parents aren’t the only offenders!

As seen in the footage that was taken over only 52 minutes on a Friday morning, every single vehicle entering Knox County School property is subject to traffic citations for running the 4-way stop signs and speeding in the 5 MPH on the Intermediate & Middle School drop-off side and 10 MPH on the High School side.

As seen in this video that includes not only parents and guardians but also staff vehicles, and even School buses and Knox County School trucks.

The only time anyone comes to a complete stop at the 4-way is when multiple vehicles are waiting to turn. But even then there is always that one that can’t seem to wait his turn!

The 29:22 video showcases various incidents of parents, students, staff, school bus drivers and yes Knox County School vehicles running the 4-way stop signs and speeding in 5 and 10 MPH drop-off zones. We also have footage of Knox County Sheriff vehicles and Knoxville Police Department vehicles as well as School Buses but that is a topic for a coming video.

Additionally, it highlights how these violations can potentially endanger not only our children walking on campus but also other road users. This video serves as a reminder to all parents, caregivers and staff that they should be extra cautious while driving in school drop-off zones and adhere to the designated speed limits and traffic laws.

It seems Knox County Schools has become notorious for their lax enforcement of these rules, with many drivers blatantly disregarding them on a daily basis and Knox County Law enforcement is non-existent.

In some cases, this results in dangerous situations where vehicles are parked in the afternoon pickup line that unfortunately blocks the path of passing vehicles. Many near misses just from this!

It is imperative for Knox County Schools and the Knox County Sheriffs Department (and KPD in the city) to take responsibility for enforcing traffic laws on the school campus to ensure a safer environment not just for our kids but for everyone involved.

Over 99% of the vehicles entering school property run the 4-way stop and speed up to 30+ MPH in the 5 MPH zone and put innocent lives at risk.

It is high time that Knox County Schools took responsibility for ensuring strict adherence to traffic regulations on their campus. Ultimately it boils down to the safety of our children who are more vulnerable than adults on the road.

One of our Farragut newspapers has neglected to respond to this dire problem on Knox County School property so Speed Bump Expose’ will do their jobs for them and continue to expose these illegal useless taxpayer funded speed bumps.

Until our Knox County Mayor that claims on his Twitter that “he protects our freedom” and the Knox County Sheriffs Department get involved we will continue to provide video proof that SPEED BUMPS DO NOT WORK! MORALITY CANNOT BE MANDATED; immorality can only be cited with hefty fines from our men and women in blue.

Thank you for watching and ring that bell and don’t forget to subscribe to SPEED BUMP EXPOSE’.. never know who we will see next. Find us on YouTube too.
