Thirty years ago, the Oslo Accords were signed between Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO).
The agreements were seen as a turning point in the conflict because it was the first time Israel and the PLO formally recognised one another.
Three decades on, the Oslo Accords are seen to have only served to cement Israel's occupation.
Al Jazeera’s Laura Khan reports from the occupied West Bank and Nida Ibrahim is in Bethlehem overlooking the illegal Israeli settlement of Har Homa.
