Hello everyone, here's the death montage TiHYDP for Armored Core 6. Phil didn't die as much as I thought he would. I didn't play this game (I never played Elden Ring either, but I made 2 TiHYDPs of Dave playing it badly), so I wasn't sure how long or short this game is. I thought this playthrough would be longer. I just so happened to be watching Dark Dave's Mirror restream to see where Phil is at, and it turned out to be the finale stream, so I decided to make the whole tihydp in one sitting instead of beating Final Fantasy XV that I was planning on doing instead. (The Royal edition is on PS Plus Extra, and I was feeling nostalgic for it, and it doesn't hold up like I remember it, but I never did beat it back in the day when I picked it up on sale a long time ago, but it has it's high moments that doesn't want me to quit. I'm clocking in 25 hours, which seems pretty short for an ff game, and that includes padding like unskippable car rides (next gen ps5 ssds make fast travel nicer once you unlock the spots you drive to and need to go back to later), which I listened to tv shows while the car drives itself or I'm doing some side quest. Someone tell me if the DLC is worth playing, but I plan on doin that after I beat the game)
Tell me how the sound is, I'm used the compressor tool to up the lows and lower the peaks, and did some manual lowering for the peaks Vegas didn't catch. When I use OBS as a sound meter, it will still go over the red, even though Vegas doesn't after I Iower the volume on the peak until it's out of the red in the one part where Phil slaps his leg or says "I" really loud, so I probably won't babysit the peaks in future videos, as long as it sounds fine on my headphones. Since most of my TiHYDPs are based on Camcorder era Phil, I usually like my videos to be pretty loud as to match the volume of that era of DSP. The dynamic range of volume in modern Phil is ridiculous, Phil is either whispering or shouting with no in-between. Camcorder Phil is always shouting.
Anyways, Phil plays Armored Core VI for day one views because a fan gifted him the game. Phil doesn't get as angry in this playthrough, which makes it boring, but there's a few moments where the mask comes off and Phil goes full toxic. Hopefully Lies of P brings the salt. I got this done in one day, so I'm glad I got it out of the way. I hope you like this video, and give it a like and a funny comment below.
Friday 09/15/23 is TiHYDP Rise of the Tomb Raider. Next week on WED 09/20/23 is only 1 TiHYDP, because I have 3 TiHYDPs up this week, but it is over 5 hours long, so that should more than make up for it.
