In this mutton snapper catch and cook:

It's another day in the Florida Keys here on the South Florida Fishing Channel and today I am fishing with parents! It's been one year since my mom and dad visited me here in Key Largo so I can't wait to catch and cook mutton snapper with my parents.

I try my best to add information on how to catch mutton snapper. There is also some information on how to catch ballyhoo, basically put out chum on the patch reefs and the ballyhoo will come. Then we use TheBallyhoop net to catch and cook ballyhoo. Just kidding! We use TheBallyhoop to catch ballyhoo for live bait.

We will use live ballyhoo to bottom drift in 110ft. I try to add some information on how to bottom drift. I also love to catch mutton snapper in shallow water but this is how to catch snapper when bottom fishing here in the Florida Keys.

To be specific, we are bottom fishing off Key Largo, Florida. Mainly fishing for snapper BUT we also catch some other fish while bottom drifting including a cero mackeral which is awesome for sashimi.

So after I show how to catch ballyhoo we move to 110ft and I show you how to catch mutton snapper. My dad catches a mutton snapper and this is already looking like a mutton snapper catch and cook episode! So stoked to be fishing in Key Largo with my parents!

When we get back home I fillet mutton snapper. And I try my best to show how to fillet mutton snapper but this isn't the best example. You can also use mutton snapper head for soup! And then I cook mutton snapper. We make mutton snapper burgers and they are so good! Mutton snapper with salsa, lettuce on a kaiser roll is just the perfect snapper catch and cook!
