In this audio recording Sgt. Jones of the Montrose Police Department arrives at the location where officers are interviewing off-duty Delta Police Officer Kali Henderson. Once Sgt. Jones can get Kali to open the door of the bathroom, Sgt. Jones asks Kali why she needed to talk to her.
Kali’s demeanor is completely different while talking to Sgt. Jones from when she was talking to Officer Gehm. Kali is now soft spoken and has taken on a victim persona. She tells Sgt. Jones that Officer Gehm was mean to her. However, as we can see from Officer Gehm’s body camera video that has also been posted it was in fact Kail that was mean, rude, and threatening towards Officer Gehm.
This is not new behavior from Kali. Kali has a history of lying about fellow officers when she thinks she is going to get into trouble or if she does not like one of her fellow officers. Kali’s command staff including the Delta Police Chief know of this behavior. We are left to conclude that due to the fact several officers have been fired or strongly encouraged to resign after Kali has filed false complaints against them the command staff and Police Chief must condone this behavior from her.
Citizens of Delta, CO is this really who you want “protecting” your city? A pathological liar that demonstrates violent tendencies. Supported by a command staff and Chief of Police that seems to by lack of acting on this issue to enjoy the behavior. This type of behavior cannot be tolerated. Officer Kali Henderson is in a position of authority in the community of Delta and as the body camera video from Montrose Police Officer Gehm and the audio recording from Montrose Police Sgt. Jones prove we are not able to trust Kali with this authority.
Calls to the Delta City Manager, Delta City Council, and the 7th Judicial District Attorney must be made by the citizens demanding an investigation into the events of 30 October 2021 and the immediate termination of Kali, the command staff, and the Chief of Police.
If your calls for action are ignored, then the city council and 7th Judicial District Attorney should be voted out of office at the first possible opportunity. Its time to take a stand against the corruption plaguing our beautiful cities and restore a truly blind justice system.

The following is a transcript of the audio recording from Sgt. Jones along with the violations of Delta Police Policy Manual, City of Delta Personnel Regulations Manual, and Colorado State Laws:
The audio begins with Sgt. Jones discussing with Officer Gehm what he has been able to ascertain with Kali.
00:04:52 Sgt. Jones enters Taysia’s house.
00:05:02 Sgt. Jones encounters Taysia. Taysia starts yelling at Sgt. Jones about officers being at her house and being rude.
This is not the behavior shown by and of the officers in any of the body camera videos.
This puts Taysia’s credibility in question.
00:05:12 Taysia tells Sgt. Jones that Kali “is in the bathroom. She is upset and she is puking because she is drunk.”
00:05:29 Taysia tells Sgt. Jones “She’s [Kali] a cop we are hardly fucking criminals, and you are acting and talking like we are.”
00:07:36 Taysia and Sgt. Jones are outside the bathroom asking Kali to open the door.
00:08:32 Taysia again asks Kali to open the door.
00:09:38 Kali opens the door.
00:09:39 Sgt. Jones identifies herself “this is Sgt. Jones with the police department. You wanted to talk to me?” Kali “mhhm”
00:09:46 Sgt. Jones “So, what’s going on?” Kali “He [referring to Officer Gehm] was being a dick.” Kali to Taysia “Yeah I puked on the floor.”
Violation of 321.5.8 Performance (c) page 164 of the Delta Police Department Policy Manual. “Failure to participate in, or giving false or misleading statements, or misrepresenting or omitting material information to a supervisor or other person in a position of authority, in connection with any investigation or in the reporting of any department-related business.”
Violation of 321.5.8 Performance (d) page 164 of the Delta Police Department Policy Manual. “Being untruthful or knowingly making false, misleading or malicious statements that are reasonably calculated to harm the reputation, authority of official standing of this department or its members.”
Violation of 321.5.8 Performance (e) page 164 of the Delta Police Department Policy Manual. “Disparaging remarks or conduct concerning duly constituted authority to the extent that such conduct disrupts the efficiency of this department or subverts the good order, efficiency and discipline of this department or that would tend to discredit any of its members.”
00:10:03 Sgt. Jones “So, what can I help you with tonight?” Kali “Whoever I talked to. Mean. I’m sorry.” Taysia “There not in the house Kali. They are outside I made sure. It’s just her [Sgt. Jones].”
Kali stops to make sure there are no other officers in the room before she starts lobbing false accusations about them.
Kali is making a false report about Officer Gehm this is a violation of 2016 Colorado Revised Statutes Title 18 - Criminal Code Article 8 - Offenses - Governmental Operations Part 1 - Obstruction of Public Justice § 18-8-111. False reporting to authorities “(c) He or she makes a report or knowingly causes the transmission of a report to law enforcement authorities pretending to furnish information relating to an offense or other incident within their official concern when he or she knows that he or she has no such information or knows that the information is false (2) False reporting to authorities is a class 3 misdemeanor; except that if it is committed in violation of paragraph (a) of subsection (1) of this section and committed during the commission of another criminal offense, it is a class 2 misdemeanor.”
00:10:27 Sgt. Jones “I think he told me he was having a hard time getting you to lay down and you were trying to get the phone, and he just didn’t want you to fall. So, he just kept trying to get you to stay seated and you were trying to get up and get the phone.” Kali “No. Not quite. No um I have the phone.” Sgt. Jones “I don’t think we really need anything from the phone. I mean nobody is accusing you of doing anything wrong.”
Sgt. Jones statement “I don’t think we really need anything from the phone. I mean nobody is accusing you of doing anything wrong” is misleading. There are several times where officers are talking with each other about Kali not being honest and knowing better than to be acting this way. Including in a conversation between Sgt. Jones and Sgt. Breshear prior to Sgt. Jones conversation with Kali.
Once again this brings into question the personal/professional relationship Sgt. Jones has with Kali.
00:10:52 Kali “So, Courtney [referring to Sgt. Jones by her first name]. No, he just treated me like shit.” Taysia butts in “I can vouch that he was just kind of being an ass.” Kali “He was.” Taysia “And I get she could have just answered him [Officer Gehm], but she’s very drunk.”
Taysia keeps speaking for Kali to keep Kali from perjuring herself any further. Taysia is acting like a mother trying to protect Kali who is 28 years-old and a police officer.
Because Taysia is supporting Kali’s false accusations about the involved officers conduct, she has zero credibility.

00:11:14 Kali talking over Taysia “I was. I was. But like I was answering him. Um like. I just like had a good night with my friends right.”
00:11:33 Sgt. Jones “I think what he was concerned about was because the stories. Like you had huge gaps in your story, and we were just trying to figure out what happened during those times. So, like you didn’t know how your friend had been injured.” Kali “Like yeah. Like I wasn’t there.” Sgt. Jones “But she said you were right there.”

00:11:59 Sgt. Jones “And the witnesses said that you were there the guy that drove by that I guess was going to take Daryle away from here. He had also said that he saw you girls and Daryle together and that your friend had fallen. So, I guess I think the reason that Officer Gehm just didn’t understand what was happening to where you didn’t remember or didn’t want to tell him what had happened. And if you don’t remember that fine. Because, you have been drinking and sometimes we get a little confused when we are drinking a lot. But I think he just felt like you weren’t being forthcoming.
00:12:43 Kali “Which is really shitty to say, because like I’m an officer you know.”
Violation of 321.5.2 Ethics (a) page 162 of the Delta Police Department Policy Manual. “Using or disclosing one’s status as a member of the Delta Police Department in any way that could reasonably be perceived as an attempt to gain influence or authority for non-department business or activity.”

00:13:26 Sgt. Jones “I think he just felt like you were withholding something, because we know that you guys were together, and then you were saying that you weren’t.
00:13:33 Kali “Um not really. Um and you know and that’s what I told him I was like I can show you the messages.”
00:13:45 Sgt. Jones “which messages are those?” Kali “Um like tonight. Um we weren’t together like at all. Um. Um I was with some Hispanic dude that was trying to text me.”
00:14:03 Sgt. Jones “But Daryle had texts on his phone from you. So, this is, this is the, the new Hispanic guy that you were talking to okay.”
00:14:36 Kali “Why was he such a dick about it you know.”

00:14:42 Sgt. Jones “Honestly I think it’s because you weren’t making a whole lot of sense to be honest.”
00:14:48 Kali “But he was still a dick about it you know. Like I wouldn’t treat anyone like that.”

00:14:56 Sgt. Jones “Well sometimes when we deal with drunk people, and they are not very you know it’s hard to get information.
00:15:00 Kali “Which is fine. Like I have been there. You know. Like you wouldn’t want to fucking believe the drunk people. But like I’m telling you he was being a dick.”
00:15:12 Sgt. Jones “Okay.” Kali “Am I wrong. Like he was being a fucking dick. I would never treat anyone like that.”
Violation of 321.5.9 Conduct (f) page 165 of the Delta Police Department Policy Manual. “Discourteous, disrespectful or discriminatory treatment of any member of the public or any member of this department or the City.”
00:15:31 Sgt. Jones “So, how can I help you right now?” Kali “Nothing. Cus like he.” Sgt. Jones “I think we are trying to just wrap everything up. So, Rhiannon’s gone home on her way home.” Kali “Um I never saw him touch her.” Sgt. Jones “Okay. And that’s all we were trying to figure out was that.” Kali “And I really didn’t. But when he is sitting there saying well, I don’t believe anything your saying um he is kind of a fuckin dick.”
Violation of 321.5.9 Conduct (f) page 165 of the Delta Police Department Policy Manual. “Discourteous, disrespectful or discriminatory treatment of any member of the public or any member of this department or the City.”
00:16:10 Kali “I don’t pull the police card like ever.”
Violation of 321.5.2 Ethics (a) page 162 of the Delta Police Department Policy Manual. “Using or disclosing one’s status as a member of the Delta Police Department in any way that could reasonably be perceived as an attempt to gain influence or authority for non-department business or activity.”
Violation of 321.5.8 Performance (i) page 164 of the Delta Police Department Policy Manual. “Any act on- or off-duty that brings discredit to this department.”
00:17:24 Kali “Rhiannon’s been a long-time best friend of mine. Um but you couldn’t go out last night. Um so she was the only one that could kind of go out, um celebratory. Um cus Will was fired um and I was the one that was supposed to take the K9 thing, and I was like I’m so under stress.”
321.5.6 (a) the Unauthorized Access, Disclosure, or Use Policy on page 163 of the Delta Police Department Manual. “Unauthorized and inappropriate intentional release of confidential or protected information, materials, data, forms, or reports obtained as a result of the member’s position with this department.”
This is an interesting statement to make considering she was not asked why she was out at the bar. She was referring to the former K9 handler, which shows she was speaking to these parties about Delta Police Department personnel this is in violation of the above-mentioned policy.
00:17:54 Taysia butts in again “she just got the dog. She got Will’s dog. She got Will’s position.”
Clearly here she is referring to a personnel matter at the Delta Police Department, which she could only have knowledge of if divulged by Kali. This is a pattern of divulging information about Delta Police Department business as is evident by statements from Rhiannon, Daryle, and now Taysia.
00:18:11 Taysia confirms that Kali and Rhiannon went out together and that Kali picked Rhiannon up. Taysia states at one point, they got split in the bar. Rhiannon called Taysia, and Taysia claims to be on the phone with Rhiannon when the dispute happened.
00:20:29 Sgt. Jones tells Kali, “Here’s the thing, is we have multiple people saying that you were with Rhiannon when all of this happened. And so, then you’re saying you weren’t there. Kali states “I was with Rhiannon all night, up until like the whole Daryle thing happened, right?”
Taysia tells Sgt. Jones that Daryle said, him and Rhiannon were trying to get Kali up off the ground and then Daryle started to leave and said he wasn’t doing this shit. Then Rhiannon went after Daryle to start a fight. Taysia “I’m not saying she wasn’t near them, but I couldn’t think she was close enough to be like, I’m sober enough to see this and know what’s happening”.
00:21:35 Kali states “At the same time, like I was trying not to get in trouble, right?”
00:21:42 Sgt. Jones states “Running away and not being forthcoming with your location, that wasted a lot of time for us”.
00:21:48 Kali replies “I went like two blocks away, really, I went down to the church.”
Violation of 321.5.9 Conduct (h) and (m) page 165 of the Delta Police Department Policy Manual. (h) “Criminal, dishonest, or disgraceful conduct, whether on- or off-duty, that adversely affects the member’s relationship with this department.” (m) “Any other on- or off-duty conduct which any member knows or reasonably should know is unbecoming a member of this department, is contrary to good order, efficiency or morale, or tends to reflect unfavorably upon this department or its members.”
Sgt. Jones tells Kali again; Rhiannon made it sound like she was a witness. Sgt. Jones states “So at that point, we have a witness to something that’s happened, who’s taken off. So, I think that’s where the officer’s frustration came from was that like A, we have a witness who saw something, B, um someone who should know better. And although I understood why maybe you wouldn’t want to be there and be brought into the middle of it, um I think that’s where the frustration came from”.
Sgt. Jones here acknowledges that Kali’s actions are wrong, and she should know better.
00:22:37 Sgt. Jones states “We have someone who saw this, and then they’re taking off playing silly little games”. Kali replies “I am so sorry. Like you should know me better than that, right I’m sorry”.
Kali acknowledges that she knows what she did was wrong.
Violation of 321.5.2 Ethics (a) page 162 of the Delta Police Department Policy Manual. “Using or disclosing one’s status as a member of the Delta Police Department in any way that could reasonably be perceived as an attempt to gain influence or authority for non-department business or activity.”
00:22:56 Sgt. Jones tells Kali “It took us awhile to figure out where you were at.”
00:23:02 Kali states “I just took off walking because I didn’t know what was going on, um so I went walking down Nevada”.
When talking to Officer Gehm she did not know how she got to Taysia’s house, yet here she knows exactly what street she was walking down.
At 23:08 Kali tells Sgt. Jones that she then gets to Taysia’s house and “dickbag over there was being an ass” (Referring to another officer, Officer Gehm).
Violation of 321.5.9 Conduct (f) page 165 of the Delta Police Department Policy Manual. “Discourteous, disrespectful or discriminatory treatment of any member of the public or any member of this department or the City.”
Sgt. Jones states “Maybe she’s not the person to be hanging out with, or at least not when you’re drinking”. Sgt. Jones states “If anything like this ever happens again, don’t run away”.
Kali states “I just started taking off walking, ya know, like not running, ya know, because I know better.”
Here she acknowledges that she knows better. Kali is trying to make it seem like her actions were not as severe as they are sounding. According to Kali’s logic if an officer needs to speak to someone it is okay for them to take off walking as long as they don’t run.
Puts her by her own admission in violation of 321.5.9 Conduct (m) page 165 of the Delta Police Department Policy Manual. “Any other on- or off-duty conduct which any member knows or reasonably should know is unbecoming a member of this department, is contrary to good order, efficiency or morale, or tends to reflect unfavorably upon this department or its members.”
Sgt. Jones states “This all would have been resolved a lot quicker if you had just been nearby and we could’ve chatted with you and chatted with her”.
00:26:40 Kali “Can you tell your officer to be a little bit fucking nicer?”
Violation of 321.5.9 Conduct (f) page 165 of the Delta Police Department Policy Manual. “Discourteous, disrespectful or discriminatory treatment of any member of the public or any member of this department or the City.”
