silver and magnesium battery demonstrated

in this video we show a very simple battery. it is 2 cells made with magnesium and silver using common tap water as a electrolyte.
you will see 2 silver plates and 2 magnesium plates 1 in each cell.
after putting a wet paper towel over the plates they make power after they both are powered up a silver round is used to connect the 2 cells together this makes a led light up. 2 cells are shown because 1 cell does not make the required voltage to light the led. if you know of common materials that make more then 1.7 volts in a single cell with water as electrolyte , please post in the comment section below i get up to 1.7 volts when plates are completely submerged in water. this same type of battery can be made with copper and aluminum however the voltage is only about .51volts per cell i made one with 7 cells and lite this led using copper and aluminum.

this is not magic it is an electrochemical process called Galvanic corrosion.
you can read about on Wikipedia their chart says Beryllium and Gold would be the best and make more volts.
