Writing Down Names of Prodigals to Pray For at GVBC

Pastor Greg Locke invited everyone in the congregation at Global Vision Bible Church in Mount Juliet, Tennessee on Christmas Sunday morning - members, regular attendees, first time visitors, whoever wanted to, to go up to the brand new steps by the platform which had just been built, but not yet carpeted, and write down on the steps names of their loved ones who are prodigals - who are running from Jesus.

The people of Global Vision Bible Church, including those who wrote the names down, will fervently pray for all of the prodigals whose names are written on those steps, as well as other prodigals, for them to return to the Lord Jesus. The steps will soon be covered with carpet (if they aren't already).

The Lord still sees every name and knows every person whose name was written down on those steps. Soon their names, EVERY ONE OF THEIR NAMES, will also be written in the Lamb's Book of Life for all eternity!

Jesus is faithful. Miracles are happening already! One man, the "Go! Go! Go!" guy, already reported that some of the prodigals whose names he wrote on the steps, came to visit him for the holidays just after Christmas, and gave their lives to the Lord and came to church with him!

ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE FOR THOSE WHO BELIEVE ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST!

In the conversation that Jesus had with His disciples during their final Passover meal together, on the evening before He was crucified, Jesus promised to do whatever they asked of the Father in heaven in His Name. He promised that ANYTHING they asked of the Father in His Name, the Father WILL do for them. He repeated that 'whatever you ask in My Name/Anything you ask in My Name" promise several times during that conversation, making certain that He got His point across by frequently beginning the promise with, "Truthfully, truthfully I am telling you...". I believe that Jesus got His point across quite well. What Jesus said to His disciples during that "Last Supper" is certainly anchored in my spirit and my memory forever.

"Whatsoever ye ask in my Name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask anything in my Name, I will do it."
