Brahma, who is sitting in the middle of the golden lotus, is said to have emerged from the "cosmic being" in the form of a single lotus made of pure gold and featuring a thousand petals. According to what is said in the book titled "Myths and Symbols of Indian Art and Civilization," the lotus of Brahma is supposed to symbolize the purest form of the earth.

The inner filaments of the lotus represent the world's many mountain ranges, while the outer petals represent the various continents. Several different gods are shown seated with one foot resting on the ground. The foot has been moved out of the way so that worshipers may get closer to the specific deity they are there to adore.

Her earliest mention is in a hymn that is attached to the conclusion of the Rig Veda. She is the embodiment of the lotus in every conceivable manner. She was born a lotus, stands like a lotus, is colored like a lotus, has lotus thighs, lotus eyes, is adorned with lotus garlands, and so on. Her two sons, Mud (also known as kardama) and Moisture (also known as ciklita), are the components that make up fertile soil.

The atman, which is said to be present in every individual, is said to reside in the cave or lotus of the heart. It is believed to resemble a lotus flower with its petals closed. When the heart chakra is activated, the golden lotus of the heart blossoms into full bloom, allowing the Ishta to emerge into the world.

This goddess also serves as the embodiment of a long-vanished river that has been dry for a very long time. Since Saraswati is also a river, she is considered to be a member of the major goddess triad that also includes Mother Ganges and Mother Yamuna.

The Hindu goddess Saraswati is often represented wearing white, which stands for innocence and superior intelligence. Animals: her mode of transportation is either a swan or a peacock.

Plants: Much like other Hindu goddesses, she is often shown seated on a Lotus flower. Her lotus has a white coloration all the way through.

She is often shown with four arms, which is a reference to the four heads that Brahma has. These four facets of an individual's inner life—mind, intellect, ego, and consciousness—are reflected here.

She just uses one set of her hands to play the veena (a lute-like instrument). She also has a book in one hand and a string of mala beads in the other.

On the fifth day of spring, many Hindus celebrate the beginning of spring with a holiday called Vasant Panchami. According to the ancient calendar, this event occurs at the tail end of the month of January or the very beginning of the month of February.

In certain parts of India, the Goddess is shown wearing a yellow robe, whereas in other parts she wears a white robe. This Goddess receives offerings of flowers and delicacies of a yellow hue. Students are given free time, during which they bring their textbooks to temples and pray to the goddess Saraswati for her blessing on their academic endeavors.
