DIY DEER WATERING HOLE CASE STUDY. You can do this too!

Summer 2019, I decided to put a new DIY watering hole on the east side of our property, actually not very far from our home. But this one was going to be located on a ridge top, in the woods, in a more natural travel area for deer. Leave the city or the office cubicle for a few minutes and join me on this DIY land management and habitat improvement case study. I put a lot of effort into getting this one to seal up, and filling it a few time by piping pond water in to it from our big ponds. Join me for a case study of just how well the first month or so has been and see the deer, turkey and beautiful bucks that are already starting to use it! This is arguably my favorite part of DIY land management and wildlife habitat improvement. A well placed watering hole is a HUGE benefit to deer and all kinds of other wildlife.
