According to the Vishnu Purana, Lord Vishnu (also known as “Shri Hari“) is the closest embodiment of the supreme soul. The literal meaning of the word “Vishnu” is very broad or dynamic. It also means something that has no end. Lord Vishnu is widely known for maintaining, and sustaining the universe. Vishnu is known as "The Preserver" within the Trimurti, the Three deity of supreme divinity that includes Brahma and Shiva.
Everything in this world is starts and ends with him. It means joy and sorrow of every living and no-living depends on him.
Shree Hari Stotram is a hymn within the reward of Lord Hari (Vishnu) , composed by Swami Brahmananda , one of many nice ascetics. Common recitation of this octet ends the miseries of start and previous age, and the devotee would attain the abode of Hari, which is free from sorrow and sufferings.
