Remnants of the Second Tempe and the Curse Tablet of Ebal with Frankie Snyder
Frankie Snyder gained international attention for her reconstruction of the geometric patterns of the opus sectile floors of Herod’s Temple in Jerusalem. Rather than a background in the arts Frankie is a mathematician which gave her a unique perspective on the analysis of the artifacts that were discovered.
In addition to this remarkable achievement Frankie also discovered the oldest example of proto-Hebrew writing when she unearthed the “curse tablet” of Ebal.
Snyder has a BS in mathematics from Virginia Tech, an MA in Jewish Studies from Hebrew College in Boston.

06 The Roman Constitution
The split between the Jewish faith and Christianity widens as the Catholic Church chooses to canonize books that were not accepted into the Jewish Bible. The official religion of the Roman Empire is Christianity but the constitution protects the religious rights of Jews, Christians and “Caelicolis” or “Heaven Worshippers”. Jews must be subservient to Christians and are deprived of any hope of regaining political power. According the Saint Augustine the Jews are the “witness people” who received the revelation from God, know the language of the Old Testament and can testify as to the truth of Christian history.

Ultimately the Council adopted the trinitarian doctrine of Christianity. Once Christianity was defined it was adopted as the official religion of the Roman Empire. Dissident churches remained including Christians in Syria, Egypt and a faction led by a bishop named Arius in France.

04 The Rise of Christianity
The Roman Empire was becoming unstable with 60 emperors ruling in the span of 100 years. Each Roman city had its own Christian community. As Christianity developed it separated itself more and more from its Jewish antecedents. Sunday instead of Saturday was chosen as Sabbath. The church continued to grow in wealth, number and in power. Eventually this compelled the Emperor Constantine to meet with church leaders and in the year 312 he signed the Edict of Milan which recognized Christianity as a legitimate religion.
